I know that a few good video editors are KINO (for DV), KdenLive (for multi-purpose), Cinelerra (I hear the effects are pretty cool but the interface is icky), and I know people that use Blender as a video editor!

Hello, all! It's been FOREVER since I've posted at this forum. Just wanted to let you know in this topic that I've been using Ubuntu (Linux) 9.10 for about a month now because of a recent virus on my beautiful Windows PC D':
And it's pretty good!
I got my old wireless card to work, I can connect it to my scanner (wirelessly, even!), some of my Windows programs run great in WINE, I can word process school documents in OpenOffice.org AND I'm running a test LAMP server right now which works pretty well.
Linux might not do everything well. But it's good for free!

Samurai Pizza Cats / General SPC Discussion / Re: Pizza Cats DVDs

Some French company was able to make a DVD set years after Saban was bought out, so someone must still have it.
As D-Mac said, this is probably because in different countries, Saban's shows are distributed to different countries. Hence why you would see SPC on ABC in America and YTV in Canada. On the side of the first set of my two French boxes, it has a FOX KIDS logo on the side. Tsuneko's second box has that too. However, I have a slightly later release of the second box so it says JETIX on the side, Everyone knows that JETIX is a divinity of Disney, so I suppose, Disney DID have some involvement in this. FK P.S. Long time, no post

I have most of the third season downloaded as AVI. I have almost all of the 1st season on DVD. I have 1 or 2 second season DVDs, and one 3rd season DVD. What a finale! Too bad they aren't continuing. The fan boys and girls are pissed about it. :p

I still have some old school Pokémon VHS tapes back from the late 90's. The newest pokémon VHS I have is one from Jhoto. And we have maybe 6 of the 8 movies. But still, Pokémon season 1 pwns all and is def. FTW. But back to the old cartoons. ============ I enjoyed Dexter and Super Mario Bros. super show, and old school Scooby Doo, Heathcliffe, Garfield (He's from Indiana! WOO!), Samurai Jack (MAJOR FTW), Yu-Gi-Oh! (season 1 and 2), BLUES CLUES , Doug (Nicklelodeon one not the crap Disney Doug), Hey, Arnold! (that catchy jazz music in the BG) and so many others!! ============ The only good cartoons now a days are Fairy Odd Parents, Spongebob, Danny Phantom and some anime stuff FK
