For me never too.

And it was sad, because in my country not so much people heard of this anime and i felt like one and only fan of SPC in Poland xd

It was so unrealistic experience when much, much later I rewatch series on my PC. Earlier SPC was just in my memory and one article from anime/manga magazine. It's funny that something I just watch once have so much impact on me.

More sad news in the English voice acting front as I just found out that Michael O'Reilly, who was the English voice of Bad Bird, passed away back in the beginning of June. AVHodgson provided the link to the obituary that mentions his voice-over work:

Still a shame that his voice demo hasn't been downloaded by anyone here prior to his retirement from the Mensour Agency; it was one of the more creative demos around.

Hello to all. Before I get to the "meat" of the topic itself, I'd like to share a story as to why this show is so special to me. I remember watching this show back in the summer of 1997, and I instantly fell in love with the fun, random insanity that this show provided. Over the next number of weeks, I recorded the show each and every morning and would watch it whenever I woke up.

Fast-forward and now we're getting close to the beginning of 4th grade for me. I remember that week pretty well (Tuesday was Field of Screwballs, Wednesday was Speedy's Double Time Trick, and Thursday was Samurai Charm School); Samurai Charm School was a good episode by itself, but it's special in that it was the last episode that aired before this show just mysteriously disappeared.

I want to do a video on the SPC from the perspective of my past self and also the perspective of a man that's about to be 33. But before I consider going forward, I'm curious: did the show ever re-air on television for anyone here? It never re-aired for me.

Just found my way back here again today!  How's everyone been?

I've been doing okay, just been focusing on myself (including writing more).

I think SPC is...special because even though it's been off the air since 1997 (the last episode that was on was Samurai Charm School), but it's still a show that I found again in 2005 randomly and that's also when I found this place; I think SPC is just one of those passionate projects that you come back to because it's something special, and I know that's for sure my case.

How are you?

The amazing thing about SPC/KNT is that the people involved, from the voice talent to the fans, just love this franchise; it doesn't matter how long it's been since it aired because, at the end of the day, the love (and passion) is still there.

Too true; thirty years on and there's still a place in my heart for the show.  Lately I've been letting my little niece play with the SPC soft toys I had made - in fact, I've been fixing them a bit (sticking on loose parts etc.) for her.  Hopefully some day she and her brother will want to watch my DVDs too!  BTW, anyone know if there's a version of the book relating to the US version of the show in the works?

I'm glad that you still come back to the show, and I'm glad that the younger generation is giving this show a fair chance.

I'm not sure about the US version, but I hope that there will be as that's the version I grew up with.

I need to get this thing soon.

This is true. That's what makes the series so special.

Oh, for sure. This is one of the retro series that I always come back to because it's special to me.

I'm glad to see modern videos of the SPC.

As for the video, I didn't know that Disney prevented the Pizza Cats from being in tatsunoko vs capcom.

Edoropolis is still alive!  Polly Love I'm fine but have not made anything related to SPC or KNT anymore.  Embarrassed

Now I'm spending most of my spare time with VOCALOID stuff.
