Yup, the title says it all.  I'm due for an MRI today, to find out what's been bothing my back since summer.  Hopefully, they'll find out whats wrong (and not turn me into Magneto  ).

A thank you to everyone for their support, including those that didn't post.  Despite the fact that I was exposed to a magnetic field 60,000 times more powerful than the Earth's, there seems to be no adverse affects (though I'm avoiding cutlery drawers for the time being...),

Unfortunately the results won't be ready Monday.  So I'll have my fingers crossed 'til then!

(And Violet, I'm afraid that I've complained to the phone company too much.  )
