I know this sounds like a silly request, but I'm looking for a few samples of anime-style eyes, half-closed, side-view and somewhat feminine. I've looked all over the internet but couldn't find anything.

Can someone help me by either finding the right art pages or maybe sketching a few samples? I need it by Monday.

Much appreciated.

[Edit: Ignore this post, I got it already]

Google ANYTHING and you'll find a trillion examples of that.

Anime tutorials found in book shops will have more than what you need to know about those eyes.

Or for the creative bone in your body, have a go at drawing only the eyes everytime you find an anime image on the net.

Fruits Basket and Love Hina have plenty of girls for reference.  Grin

I found a fairly good one on DA recently (just search anime eyes tutorial)

Basically just draw the top and bottom borders of the eyes (don't connect em) then make a light line for the shiny part and finish with the iris and pupil. Leave the rest of the eye white when you colour it.

EDIT: heres the link

Thanks for the feedback although I'm sorry to say it's not much help for what I'm trying to do. ^^; See, what I'm looking for has to be the right angle and in the right form.

I need something that fits all these criteria at the same time:

 - Half-closed (or at least not wide open)
 - Side-view (most important)
 - Somewhat feminine

Not trying to be picky, it's just I'm trying to draw a fursona portrait for a friend's birthday on the 20th and so far I've already gotten most of it down. All that's left is the coloration and the eye. Face is side view, hence why I need the eye to be side view.

None of those are what I'm looking for.

And yes I use Google, but it does have its limits.

Edit: Nevermind, I decided to just go with the flow and draw one in myself. Turned out alright.

You could look at tutorials, and you could google images...or...waitwait here's a thought... you could actually DRAW it YOURSELF instead of COPYING! Yikes!

That's exactly what I was trying to do, I just didn't know how to draw it so I needed a rough model to work with.

As I've said before, I've tried Google but I haven't found what I needed because Google isn't always specific, and I'll end it with that.

Kuh-loooooooooosed.
