A birthday giftpic for a friend who breaks bones more than I cut my hair...
I've know someone exactly like that. First time I met him, his nose was already crooked from breaking it earlier in life. The same incident affected the nerves on his mouth; his lips would continue moving for a short while after he finished talking. He was always the adventurous type (in a stupid way); especially on his bike. He was always in and out of hospitals. He's had crutches and casts for every limb on his body. Eventually, all his medical mishaps lost its shock value for me and my friends. I swear, he must have a trophy room for all his casts, complete with a xenomorph skull and Danny Glover's toe-nail clippings.
Oh! and then there was the time his appendix burst in the middle of lunch hour. How often have you watched someone keel over on the ground in excruciating pain, without having the least bit of surprise?
Too bad you didn't post that comment on DA; my other friend on there would know exactly who I'm talking about.
