First off, I apologize if this is the wrong section for this topic, but it concerns Samurai Pizza Cats.

There may have been a topic about this awhile ago, but I can't find one, so I figured I'd post one here.  The reason I'm posting this here isn't really so much to advertise Shout Factory as it is to provide a link to a possible company that could get Samurai Pizza Cats released on DVD.  Some of you probably know of the company, as they tend to release obscure and classic cartoons out on DVD.  Those that don't, or those that doubt their capabilities, know that I was one of you once.  But ever since I got a copy of the entire SatAM series on DVD, my entire outlook on them was changed.  Not only did they release the entire 26 episode series in a four DVD set, but they put quite a few extras in it too, including interviews and concept art.  And if they can get that show on DVD (the show that caused ABC to issue a cease and decist order to some members of FUS because they wouldn't stop bothering them about it), they can probably get anything on DVD if enough people ask for it.

So as far as I know, Shout Factory is the best chance we have of ever seeing a DVD set of Samurai Pizza Cats.  I'll leave a link to the site, but definitely think about it.

And for the record, people are already starting to ask them for a DVD release of SPC.  Hopefully enough people will do so, because I'd really love to have that series in one of their nifty box sets.

I dropped a comment there for fans of the show to make a petition.  Shout Factory tends to base whether they put a show out on DVD on how many people ask for it to happen. In other words, if they make a petition, and if enough people sign the petition, it's a real possibility that we may actually be able to have SPC in some kind of official format.

I know that petitions usually aren't too highly regarded, but in the case of Shout Factory, this is one of the few exceptions.  See, there is this really awesome guy named Brian Ward who works for Shout Factory.  And he happens to be the person in charge of acquiring the rights to shows.  And what's more, he really listens to the fans.  He's the one that personally got the ball rolling on a Sonic SatAM DVD release after seeing how many fans there were at FUS.  And as I said, if he could get the rights to that show, he can get the rights to SPC.  But the thing is, it will only work if he actually SEES how many SPC fans there are out there.  And the only way to do that is to go to the website and post a comment on their message board.  I know that advertising other boards is usually a forum no-no, but in this case, I had to weigh the pros and the cons, and the pros won.

So, if you haven't already, go to the site and drop a comment in the Samurai Pizza Cats Topic there and maybe something good will come of it (it worked with SatAM, now it's SPC's turn).
