Some of the resin kits that are featured on Violet's site are up for grabs on Yahoo Japan auctions.

Pururun
Mipple (Pururun & Omitsu)

It's nice to see more pictures of these, they're very well made. Too bad my model-building skills are nonexistant; from what I've heard, kits like these aren't for beginners, it takes someone with a lot of experience to make them look like they do in the brochures.

I found the site with Mipple figure casually, when I was googling to find something about T. Souma's manga book. I don't know much about model-building, but I guess it must be painted manually... would be so awkward for me!  Yikes!
The site says the toy is a limited edition made by Max Factory (not Max Factor) for a model kit event (JAF-CON'92).

Very nice indeed!  Shame these things never usually make it out of Japan.  Sad

Happened to come across a website featuring the same Mipple set today. Colors are a bit off, but nice nonetheless.

One of Okara/Carla is up now! A very cute model of an often overlooked character.

Just out of interest, what size are these figures usually?  I might see if I can get the SetsunaKou girls to make one for me (assuming they can get hold of the kits, that is).
