The Big Picture

Well I noticed that we have many creative people here but most though having fancharcters dont have a face to put to them, their only existance is writing in a fan fic so for once and for all Im offering to draw everyones fancharacter (only one character from each of you and you chose which one I draw dont make me chose fo a list of 10 or whatever) so when it comes to RPing or even just browsing we can see and identify em.

But before you start messaging me wait for the poll to end and then Ill set up a thread with further details.

I like big group pictures, so that's what I voted for. I don't have any fancharacters myself, but I'm definitely interested in seeing everyone else's. You're a good artist, and I'm sure lots of our members would appreciate having you draw their characters.

I've always wanted to see Talgen in picture form, as I haven't gotten him down on paper yet.

I have an anthro character that can be used in the group shot. Funny, because I have drawn only one FC in existence!!

Granted, it's a great idea that even I have been pondering, but it's just such a huge task. I personally wouldn't be able to do it and keep what's left of my mind *smirk*

Allow me to suggest going with an idea that I saw floating around deviantart: A "yearbook" sort of thing where everyone who wants to contribute their own character art can submit a certain sized image of their character in a photoshoot style. That way someone can organize all the submissions and get multiple characters on a nice layout. Everyone will have their own style, feel like they contributed, or for those who can't draw will feel appreciated that a designated artist from our community (or wherever) imortalized their character. Besides... it'll fit in great with Little Tokyo High!

Anyway, that's just something to mull over. Sorry, but I just can't vote in this poll until I see some other options for a picture/pictures.

But I must say, I would be glad to help contribute for those in need of character art. Just...maybe wait until after Christmas, if that's alright ^^ I am already overloaded with artwork at the moment, and with no time to do it all. Pizzacat, note me on DA to discuss this further.

I voted two char pics.

Why?

Cause group photos are all well and good, but the individuality of each char is often overshadowed by the sheer numbers of other chars. Of course, you may not end up using that many chars, but...

Photos containing three or less chars often work better for each char's personality.

In any case, I'll submit one. (In a few days)

I prefer the pic with all characters, including some that don't appears so many times. For example, I'm interested in the counselors of shogun (I remember of a tiger, a horse, a mouse and some more members).

Ok now to start the big pic, now for those of you who want their SPC fan charcter included into it you must send me a short description of what they look like features ect. BUT what Id value the most and for the sake of acuracy to make sure I get your character to look right and the way you like em, height, correct colors ect, I urge you to send some actual visual reference meaning a pic, doesnt matter on the quality or the drawing skills used it would be a great help, dont worry my friends hand writting looks like ancient runes and I can still read it so even a scribble meant to be a character, I can make it out.

I know everyone hates my character, but could you include a Black cat boy with green eyes?

This is the public available information service of Little Tokyo high:

Today we will focus in a lame useless character, Jack the small black cat, whose real full name is Jack Daniel Black. he measures 110 cm, buts thats Ok, because he is not an adult yet^_-. He weighs  30 kgs, thats makes him light and able to run fast when in great danger. IF you haven't noticed: He is a lot shorter than Speedy Seviche! (Speedy is 130 cm)

He is fourteen years old and has green eyes, his fur color is black and some think he is kinda cute. His clothes usually consist of a red T-shirt, a gray jean and blue running shoes.

As I recall it was a combination of my young ignorance, the final exams of my last year in High School and the study time and preparation itself hitting me like a truck and also If I recall it was abandoned cause in total I only got about 4 characters submitted for use in it...and really you cant have much of a big group picture with 4 characters.

If you still want to do this you may ask by pm to the frequent posters about their characters, It would be also good to first do sketches of every character, so the big pic becomes easier as you would have some reference drawings to use. Or you could just do Polly, Francine and Vi wearing swimsuits with big ribbons on their backs and holding a sign that says "Happy Christmas!"
