Little Tokyo is under attack from a UFO. It kidnaps Princess Vi and demands Emperor Fred resign and hand over the Palace. But seriously, real aliens would have better things to do  Polly Wink Of course it’s all the Big Cheese’s doing, along with the Ninja Crows dressed as giant jellyfish. The Pizza Cats endeavour to save the Princess, only she’d rather stay and finish her poker game … that is until Guido invites her for a spin on his jetpack. He then dumps her on Speedy, but the ploy works.

Another fave ep from my childhood. One of Princess Vi’s best performances IMO, and a massive production on behalf of the Big Cheese. He’s built a spaceship, a robot and lots of little mini spaceships! And still he loses. Maybe a UFO inspired musical act would’ve been a better idea afterall?

I also like the part where Speedy and Guido do the tornado twist thingy. “Such brotherhood, such teamwork I tell you its heart warming!” Truly a blessed moment for Speedy/Guido fans everywhere ...

Other highlights: Lucille forgetting to read the script; Speedy pretending to have a telegram for the UFO; the limbo scene, and Francine tired of playing second banana.

Three out of five ***

I always thought it was funny that Guido was the one who offered her a ride, but she's riding with Speedy.

If they really wanted to portray the Big Cheese as the mortal enemy of the Pizza Cats, why isn't he a dog?
