... but I appreciate you sharing at least, I wouldn't have asked for input if I didn't want it.
As far as purity goes... you can't get more pure than the raw comics... however not everyone wants to take the time to learn japanese to read them. I opted to just make translation notes for the sfx here instead of actually editting out the sound effects and putting in english sound effects. The artwork doesn't need to be distrubed as much (can focus on mainly just editting the bubbles).
Specifically in vol 8, it allowed the reader to know that the car was actually moving without advancing straight to the next panel, these things would be lost if it were just left untranslated.
