i don't think that's so odd, either. i've had breakfast pizzas with bacon on them before, and i usually eat ham (or Canadian bacon) on my pizzas.

So I guess anchovies and yogurt wouldn't be such a strange choice of toppings after all...?  Speedy Wink

Dude, it's a quote directly from SPC! Watch Episode 3, and you'll see.

How to make a real Japanese pizza? Let me see...  you can use:
misso instead tomato sauce;
umeboshi replacing olives;
moti taking place of cheese...
enough! Forget! Such recipe couldn't make a pizza, anyway.  Tongue

The only pizza I like is Margarita pizza with mushrooms, sometimes anchovies.

That's all I have left to say in this thread.

When I was translating the 1st episode of KNT 01, I found several mentions to 'tororo' pizza. I have eaten tororo since I was kid, but I learned the translation for English only when I found this site, where it is translated to 'grated yam' (in Portuguese is 'inhame ralado').
I thought that such pizza is only a joke of the Japanese writer of the KNT, but tororo pizza exists indeed, look at this site (sorry, this site is in Japanese only). Is it yummy or yuck?  Yikes!

The Breakfast Burger features a fresh, fried egg, crisp bacon, hash brown nuggets, cheese, ketchup and a charbroiled all-beef patty, all on a sesame-seed bun.

I actually find it quite tasty, and it's my second-favorite item there. Grin
