i'm gonna have to try this out, too. i'd like to know how mint candies can cause that kind of chemical reaction, but physical science was never one of my better subjects. ^^;

Yeah, It's the same thing that happens when you pour sweet-n-low sugar packets into diet coke. For some reason fake sugar products just set the stuff off.  It's cool.

YEah, sugar and carbonation usually equal mass fizzing to begin with, but something about mentos and artificial(overly processed) sugar creates extreme expansion. I need to try this out myself just for fun.
