It's-a me, Mario!

Basically me cosplaying as Mario using mostly real clothes instead of cheap costume store attire. The only 'costumey' item was the hat which I got off ebay for about $9 (I ordered both the Mario and Luigi hat for $18 so each individual hat would technically be half that much). Everything else I either already had or bought in regular retail stores.

I really like the way this came out. It took me several photo shoots, a good shave (had to shave the beard off my chin) and a little color adjustment to get it to look like this.

I am so ready for Halloween 2010.

 I find that material used in cosplays aren't very authentic looking or look rather cheap, so I think you made a good choice choosing regular clothing over cosplay material. I also like the mustache!

Nice work. I remember I remember dressing as Mario for Halloween many years ago. I think I wore a yellow cape ala SMW.
