The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon

Did anyone else catch some of this Pokemon special? It was awful!! I couldn't stand 5 minutes of it (heh, it's on right now). Pokemon USA did it instead of 4kids and changed all of the voices. They were all completely terrible! And Pokemon USA is supposed to do the same for the rest of the seasons.

They're gonna kill a show that's been going for eight years, and on its 10th Anniversery. I don't think that company has good strategic people.

Yup, heard about this on Anime News Network not too long ago. It's just as I thought would happen.

Not that I really care of course. I stopped watching Pokemon many a year ago (as soon as Charizard left Ash).

A long time ago, at some point in the story. I don't remember when, been a while since I watched it as well. But I like it, it may be predictable, but then so is Dragonball Z.

Charizard stayed in the Charicific Valley in Johto, but comes back every once in a while.

Just the week before this special, he came back and beat an Articuno.

I stopped seriously watching once Charmander evolved into Charmeleon. I stopped watching altogether at the Orange Islands stuff.

Although I can't imagine the VA's voices sounding exactly the same after 8 years (see Homer Simpson). So I guess a certain degree of change is inevitable.
