Unbelieveably good movie.

The plot was awesome, the acting was superb and it was full of action and humour. I cannot recommend this movie enough.

Just a quick warning though, if you've got a thing about really icky scenes with lots of blood, then you might want to be careful.

... However, I do like the movie. It's pretty good~!

Bah, the more gore the better, especially in this context. Pedophiles deserve the worst that people can dish out.

Sin City was tight as hell. Action packed during nearly every moment.

The writing was a tad bit cheesy at points though. Particularly during the inner-monologues.

They did that on purpose to make it like the comic, added a bit of dark humour to it, a nice added touch.

Oh I understand that they did that on purpose, but it just got a few inappropriate laughs out of me and made it seem cheesier... that's all. Quentin does the whole dark monologue stuff better.

From what I've heard, the movie may have been excellently produced and with an interesting storyline progression, but honestly I just don't see myself watching it mainly because of the content. Even as a Twisted Metal fan, I'm not the kinda guy who gets a kick out of experiencing disgusting gore. It all seems like a waste of good cinematography IMO.

Maybe I'll watch it, maybe I won't. I just hope I don't have to make waste of $10...

There are just a few moments of gore, it's not THAT bad.

I'd say it's worth the $10 otherwise, you'd just spend it on something else that won't make ya feel satisfied.

It wasn't gory at all. I've seen far worse. The acting was good, cheesy but good. The style was awesome. The plot was god freaking awful however. I don't think there was a moment when I wasn't laughing my ass off. It was so.... fake, so cheesy it sucked. I mean the main character can withstand 50,000 bullets, multiple ones to the head yet at the end it only  take one to kill him? That was freaking funny. The whole wolf eating away at that boy's limbs except for the head, halarious. So I liked it for the acting and they way it was made, but other thant that, god... yes I know it is supposed to be cheesy like that, just to much cheese for me.

Have you actually read the Graphic Novel, Polly? Marv (The big guy) is just so tough that he can take all those bullets, but it still hurts him, remember all the bandaids all over him after each fight?

That's how the character was made, and he is by far the best character in the entire movie, so gruff, yet so innocent, yet so darn right nasty. Gotta love it.

Even the "cheesy" parts were good, the whole damn movie was good and I'm glad it got rave reviews.

Nah, I haven't read the Graphic Novel. Probably why I didn't enjoy it as much as those who had probably did. I knew nothing about those characters except what I saw in the movie. Not saying it was bad, just lol not my type of movie. Might check out the graphic novel though.

We all got our opinions, and in my opinion, this is the best movie of 2005 so far.

I dunno, I heard it was very gory and not for the faint of heart (I'm a tad soft for extreme violence). I'm also not quite sure about the Jessica Alba scene. I admit I'm a bit of a prude when it comes to those kinda scenes...

Speaking of which, I also heard it was degrading toward women. Is that true? I know I'm not a chick, but I feel guilty watching anything that's insulting to any particular group even if it's a group I'm not a part of.

You kidding? You have a bunch of sexy women dressed up in scantly clad leather running a town and kicking butt! Any movie where the women out power the men is far from degrading. Now yes, they were dressed up pretty slutty (excuse the language but what other way is there to describe it?) but still they kicked butt. ^^
