Hey I have a question

Yea I am a noob I will admit.  I am a member of two other message boards and while this may not be the best place to ask this, I feel I must since I dont know where else.  Anyway my question is why is this site so slow at loading?  I have a cable connection, and this site seems slower then when I used to load sites on 56k.  Can anyone answer this?  Oh and I am Unleashedfreak.  Nice to meet you all *hands everyone skittles*.  I hope I am welcome here.

I don't know what you are talking about, but it seems fine to me. Do you have wireless, because that'll explain A LOT. Anyway, it's spelled newb. I don't like that net-talk term.

Sounds like you have problems with your network or internet connection.  I have cable broadband as well and this site loads in under a second.  Make sure you do not have ad-ware or virues that would cause your connection to act slow.  Also include what browser and sevice provider you are using along with more detailed info about your home network, etc. It's hard to troubleshoot networking issues otherwise.

I did a spyware scan and deleted all my temp internet files and cookies.  Seems to run fine now.  Thanks guys.

Yes I plan on staying here.  I loved the Pizza Cats show back in the day and still do today.  I just wish the episodes were more accessable.

Joking aside, I'd just like to comment on the fact that I haven't been able to change my password (or user settings) since I opened my account: I don't like it.

Have you tried clicking on your user name, clicking on "Account Related Information", then changeing your password there?

Yes, that was the first thing that I did.  The forum happens to believe that my current password is different from my login password. 

It may have to do with the characters that I used.
