I watched "The Ring" last night for the first time. I have a tendency to not watch movies that are too hyped up until they've been out long enough. It was creepy. I did not particularly enjoy the prank of the tv "suddenly going on by itself" during the movie, or the rounded mirror I had to walk by in the dark o_o

Ahaha, yes that also creeped me out too after I saw the movie. I avoided TV's and mirrors and water for like 2 days when I saw it.

I watched half of two movies over the holiday.

On Christmas Day, I watched the first half of Lady in the Water. I got bored and turned it off.

Last night I watched the first 45 minutes or so of Doom. I figured it couldn't have been as bad as people said it was. I was wrong.

Couldn't fall asleep last night, so, I ended up watching Deliverance.   Undecided

Recently watched 'Beavis and Butthead Do America' and it was tops! Recommended to fans and MTV junkies ( me? no, I'm not one  Grin ). Apparently after the film was released like 10 years ago, the TV series had ended. I still watch them on YouTube - not the movie, but all the episodes including the banned ones.

Mr. Yellow must've been cut before they started filming. Either that or he as shot off camera and never mentioned. :p

Tombstone = my last movie watched.

Saw 300 over the weekend. Overall I liked it, but it wasn't as good as I was expecting it to be. Meh... oh well.

Pah! Fool! I like pasta!

*unsheaths fork*

I think I was just just expecting something along the caliber of Sin City, but I'm pretty sure I had my hopes set a bit too high for that one, eh? :p

Perhaps, but Sin City and 300 are hard to compare, the only similar thing is the author Miller.

Tough call, but I would edge 300 slightly ahead of Sin City for me.

I'm going with Sin City by a long shot, just for the story alone.

300 was just 2 hours of recomfirming that 300 Spartans taking on the Persian army are badass. Plus, it was loosely based on history, so coming up with a plot for this movie (err.. comic first) probably wasn't the toughest thing to do.

This is like comparing 14k gold to 18k gold though. :p

Plus, to top it all off, Sin City has two more movies of badassery coming out. Unless they they do prequels for 300 (*gack*) it might be a bit hard to do. :p

I just saw 300 last night, and I'm going with Burkey on this one - both are kickass movies, but 300 was slightly better IMO.
