remember hearing those samples of horrid voice acting from games like "House of the Dead 2" and "MegaMan 8"?

ah, the good ol days when roll had a lower voice than megaman, and doctor light wanted "dr wiwy" stopped...

Is Hotel Mario on the list? It was a game released on the hardly well known Phillips CD-i system, and the horrible VA hits the jackpot. In fact, almost ALL the CD-i games have the worst voices in videogame history!

If you find a link on YouTube, you'll get the full 'helpful' guide to the game from Link, who has a lot to say about 'slashing' people with your sword to make them talk, hitting items to pick them up, doing the 'duck walk',  etc. 8D

I think the worst dubbing in a videogame would be the US/Europe version of Shining Force III. I'm not sure if anyone here has played it, but Synbios (The main character)  has a terrible speech impediment.

Though I feel it is the best game for the Dreamcast, Shenmue has some of the worst voice acting.

LOVE to know how they acquire the sound clips from the games.

 Shocked Check 'Clip 18' on the 'T.R.A.G.' game - doesn't the voice actor sounds a lot like Roger Rabbit?  Shocked

i don't know why they decided to make the DS version a remake of the PSX one. i mean, they did a much better job with the GameCube games, remaking the scenes and hiring better voice actors. so, i guess...there was no good reason behind what they did for their Nintendo DS port.
