Never even heard of Smash TV. Though from what I just googled, it looks like a cool game...

If your eyeballs could shoot lasers _{*cough*cyclops*cough*}, you would have an infinite amount of use for your eyes.   But what if your eyes were not 20/20? Would the laser beam be less concentrated, and just end up being just an overly elaborate flashlight? And on that topic, could you wear your glasses to re-focus the laser beams from your eyes and make an even more powerful laser beam?  And wouldn't it cause a lot of problems in everyday life, like zapping people?  Guy's would totally be at a disadvantage with laser eyes, because then women would see the red dot's on themselves all the time, leading to a panic, thinking they are getting sniped or something.  But then again lighting people on fire with just an evil glance would be awesome too...

Lasers that shoot eyeballs on the other hand can be interpreted many ways.  Is it like an eyeball gun, or just merely a laser that gets in peoples' eyes?  Though I suppose this could be some type of super weapon from like an optician or something...

Valkyrie, If we (males) shot powerful lazers out of our eyes many females would be horribly maimed for life.

Can beams be shot? Aren't they emitted/focused?

With that in mind, eyes that shot lasers would end up shooting laser projectors, and would be the equivalent of a stoning.

The other choice would be an eyeball gun.

Times ago I read something related at Slashdot. They built a very expensive laser gadget with LED removed from blu-ray disc players. More details at this link. Owing to their high output power, such lasers are dangerous and can cause severe burns.

To answer the original question...
If I had to choose... I'd go for lazers.

Otherwise for a wierd super power...
I'd have to go with the ability to change into a super powered yet regular looking duck.
Because you know... no one ever suspects the duck.
