ahh Moonwalker, to bad i lost the cartridge to it.

what other game could you shoot magic out of your hands, fight thugs, rescue children, and then moonwalk away? this one. Its the best Genesis game to star the king of pop himself, actualy the only game to star him, Michael Jackson! The game was produced by sega with Michael making all the ideas, he was the director of the game after all.

The game is made up from his movie Moonwalker. Its basically him going around saving kids to his music video's.

Here is a short run on the storyline of the game. Mr. Big ( The main bad guy ) is trying to get kids everywhere to do drugs! Michael wants to put a stop to this naturally, so he sets out to rescue the kids and stop Mr. Big.

This game owns becuase its got all his dance moves and music in it. and if you charge up a special by spining, all the bag guys on the screen will stop attacking you and dance! and then die at the end of the dance.


There was an arcade version, but it wasnt as good as the Genesis game. So who else has played this kickass game?

Anyways, He only turns into a car to switch between stages, i have no idea why tho. also in his movie Moonwalker, he also turns into a car and drives away for what reasons, i have no idea.

I used to be a big fan of MJ back in the early 90's when I was a kid. I've lost respect for him now but I still enjoy listening to some of his music.

The Genesis game kicked ass. I remember you could even get the animals (like the dogs in level 2) to dance with you. I never could beat it though, the furthest I ever got was the cavern level.

And I've seen a speed run done on moonwalker where the guy beats the game in like a half hour. CRAZY!

Yup i play that one too, but i think the Genesis game is alot better and harder. Also the music is better on the Genesis verson.

Yeah, the Arcade Moonwalker has that loud "ZHA-BOWNG!" sound like most other Arcade games of its Time.

Yay, if you like the good old MJ game, you might want to check out this flash I found a few months ago, featuring our favourite char to the Moonwalker game.  Might be a tad anti Nintendo, but oh well, it's all in good fun.
