KNT CD transliterations/translations

I hate to say it, but it might be sexual.

I hardly believe in it, I can't find any of such kind of suggestion in all "official" KNT related products (but in fan works one can find lot of hentai stuffs).

It might also be a badly translated "put me down" (or "release me from this relationship" if you wanted to be literal), since put and touch have similar meanings.  Native Japanese wouldn't know the significance of certain words in English.  (I'm English and even I have trouble!)

This is the main difficult to understand what the lyrics intended to mean because, as you said, some words or phrases have been perhaps used mistakenly.

As soon as I get your final approval, I'll get to finishing the rewrite.

I'm not following you, are you asking to revise your rewrite before publishing it? Or are you asking my expressed permission to do the job? Anyway, all work done to improve my crude translation would be very welcomed.

Can anyone please post the titles from the CD backcover scan of "Nekoza Senshuuraku Kouen" (Music CD) like Daisensei did in the second post in this topic.

I found song titles on Issarlk's page. But the cover contains more data I can`t identify plus top part of the CD is covered with label.

For the KNT Wikia article I am trying to romanize and translate some of the titles from the "Music CD" backcover scan.

The "Tenka Muteki" bit is kind of nuanced and tricky to translate, but my dictionary has it listed as "unequaled" or "unrivaled". That's a bit simple, but it can work, IMO. The rest is looking alright, although I think "Songs Hit Parade" might sound a little more natural in English as "Hit Songs Parade".

The "correct translation" in this case, shall be "Yattarou of invincible ruling power" as we have の (no) particle. But your version, Unrivaled Yattarou, is better.

although I think "Songs Hit Parade" might sound a little more natural in English as "Hit Songs Parade".

I found another reason for you variant:

It is not the "Songs Hit Parade" (A list of popular tracks sorted by it`s popularity), it is "Hit Songs Parade" - a list of Hit songs from the KNT. We are not placing them in this order usuing the popularity criteria, we simply giving a list of track used in KNT.

Tenka Muteki no Yattarou (天下無敵のヤッ太郎) is the only track from KNT CD for which there is no romanization and translation. I will try to translate it. Any suggestions/comments/improvements are welcomed.

I wish I had my notes from when I was translating this one, I'll have to dig it out. I also wish this computer supported Japanese. Anyway...

I believe the line would be best rendered as "I can't leave you crying alone" or "alone and crying". I don't know why you think "kimi" (an informal way of saying "you") refers to Ko'on-no-kami, I always thought he was referring to Omi-chan. It makes more sense that way. Or it could just be a "you" in general, but I still think it's the former.

I'd translate "Mune ippai ni sakura fubuki" as "My heart is full of a sakura blizzard" or "A blizzard of sakura blossoms fill my heart".

The translation isn't accurate, it would be "Weak fellow prefers darkness". I suggest something like "Coward prefers to live in the shadows" (still awkward, but it's more accurate).
