We have songs that suit the characters. Why not movies?

First two I can think of.

Speedy: Die Hard.
I don't think Speedy could resist delivering a line like: Yippy Ki Yay Mother Fecker!

Seymour: Memoirs of a Geisha.  Grin

Guido:  Austin Powers...1,2, and 3.  Either that or Good Luck Chuck.
Polly:  Terminator.  But any movie with the butch-girl-saves-the-day theme would work.

Good choices. I would also consider Psycho for Polly.  Angry Polly by Felineki

Are we going on titles, or the actual plot/story/character-definition of the movie?  To be honest, Psycho doesn't really fit in my opinion.
Actually. It can be all of the above. Anything to do with the plot or characters would need some explaining.

Emperor Fred: Yellow Submarine

The movie plays inside Fred head, and having him in the movie, saying Fred all the time..well...it could work.

You wouldn't.

If you haven't seen Jim Carrey in The Mask, it would be rather hard to explain how 1/2 of him is a goofy, lanky bank worker (much like Speedy is a goofy, lanky pizza delivery cat.) And the other half is a crazy, morbid, insane, party animal. (Kinda like Polly I suppose.) Grin

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of Speedy taking the role of Jim Carrey, and Polly taking the role of Cameron Diaz in the movie.
Granted, it'd be bending the characters a little bit from their original state, however I'd still love to see that movie adaptation. Smiley

Speedy + The Mask (the actual mask) = Priceless
... In my humble opinion of course. ^^;

Polly should play Weaver's role in Alien.

Speedy and Polly could be the two siblings in Cat Soup (look it up).
