As the title suggests, I wanted to comprise a list of random/lesser known facts about the main characters of SPC. Please add as you see fit, and make sure that the facts are fanon and not made-up. Gracias! 

Speedy

• He hates disco
• He has a comic book collection
• He really likes the film 'Top Gun'
• At school he was skilled at Home Economics
• Interested in studying nuclear reactors like his uncle Irving
• Doesn’t like New York because the women are too tall
• Is generally very sensitive about his height
• Is a fan of Clint Eastwood
• He sucks at dodgeball, but he's good at ping-pong
• He's cavity-free
• He snores
• He’s scared of earthquakes
• He can’t read chinese
• He owns a jacuzzi
• Negotiated a lucrative merchandising deal for the Samurai Pizza Cats T-shirts, lunchboxes, running shoes and executive desk sets
• His mother wanted him to become a certified public accountant
• Will pick french food over italian
• His x-ray visor cost him 75 cents and three cereal box tops
• Is allergic to UFO's and aliens make him sneeze
• Doesn't like swimming, but would prefer to swim then travel long distances by foot
• Plays a great pinball game
• Prefers Beethoven to Barry Manilow
• Is susceptible to feathers, the smell of makerel fresh from the can and yarn (**this also applies to Polly and Guido)
• Attempted to set a new world record for the 'feline free-board unsupported bridge royal tail-stand' (I think that's what the Narrator said!)
• Is a Yankees fan
• Thinks the Rude Noise, compared to every other villain he's had to deal with in the show, take the cake
• He has two swords: ginzu and the-less-often-mentioned-companion-sword Binky
• His ginzu sword was given to him by a samurai warrior who was also a sushi chef
• He lives right and drinks milk
• Some alternative names given to him by Polly and Guido include: shorty, pussycat, kiddo, picklehead and Flopsy
• A fanatic for personal hygiene
• According to himself he gets all the fan mail, is on the cover of 'Cat Fans?' magazine and has is own star on the Hollywood catwalk of fame
• Thinks Garfield is a loser
• Has to eat a large bowl of anchovy paste every day or he turns into a pumpkin (and if you believe that, you'll believe anything!)
• Has bad penmanship
• Didn't have a vacation for three years before the 'Wet and Wild Weekend' episode (**Polly, Guido and Francine included)
• Is concerned about the environment (**actually, Polly and Guido alike have made quotes to suggest that all three of them are environmentally aware)
• Uses pepperoni cologne
• Does a good Charlton Heston impersonation
• Doesn't care if a robot has a prettier body then he does
• He somehow knows Dan Rather
• His superhero contract has been renewed for an additional five years (**along with Polly, Guido and Francine)
• Thinks Polly will make a great lil' wife some day
• Likes to break into song at random moments
• Has a basement hideout with Guido, beneath the Emporium
• Wish he did jump-rope instead of PE
• He and Guido prefer low impact aerobics
• Wants to spend the rest of his eight lives with Polly - after she makes him a pizza
• Is ready to accept the coveted Emmy award for the 'best pet trick'

Polly

• Worked her way through college with Lucille singing in the band 'The Pointless Sisters'
• She has an autograph from Garfield on her flute, who thanked her for a 'wonderful evening'
• She could never love a man who isn’t kind to children
• Likes a man to be sensitive, creative, have a great sense of humour and to be a smooth dancer
• She hates fishing because of the fishy smell
• Sometimes forgets to brush her teeth after lunch, causing bad breath
• Briefly thought Speedy and Bad Bird were brothers (thanks to Guido)
• Owes everything to her ten dollar manicure and her hairdresser
• Never stopped believing in Santa Claus
• Has a brother who she used to throw mud at
• Doesn't like ink splattered on her after she's washed her hair (who doesn't?)
• Strongly believes in lots of exercise
• Aspires to be a beautiful girl on the cover of 'Ninja National' and 'Catnopolitan'
• Some alternative names given to her by Speedy and Guido include: kitten, kid, Pollyanna and Old Halibut Breath
• Thinks the best way to persuade dirty old men (a.k.a. Guru Lou) into giving the SPC a giant robot is to beat them up
• Insists on performing her own stunts
• She's agile, quick, has good verbal skills, is gullible enough to respond to concentrated ego stroking ... not to mention loud and obnoxious (as quoted by the Big Cheese)
• According to Guido her flute was a gift from her 'first love', whom she accidentally killed when she hugged him too hard and damaged his weak kidney (though this appears to be Guido's own personal theory)
• Is a huge sucker for jewels
• She is not a pedigree (still, never call her a mixed-breed cat!)
• Thinks she's the next Sigourney Weaver
• Likes to gossip
• Doesn't want to die without winning an Emmy or a Golden Globe
• Speedy and Guido think she's fine just as she is, and one of the prettiest superheroes they know
• She's very ticklish
• She has been to Egypt and Easter Island (and she travelled by foot!)
• Wants to take a vacation in Hawaii
• Her mother told her never to waste food
• Thinks Guido's problem is his social life
• Is a good poker player
• Doesn't like anyone touching or playing her flute

Guido

• He does not like rap or easy-listening music
• He likes the band 'Iron Butterfly'
• He has a brother
• He wants a wedding cake made of tuna fish
• Cares about Brazilian rainforests
• Compares his moves to that of famous dancer Fred Astaire. He even considers opening a dance school
• He’s good a dodgeball – at least better then Speedy
• Played the lead in ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’
• Pretends he’s a bird when taking a shower
• Talks in his sleep
• His secret weapon is ‘stale kitty litter!’ (haha!)
• Is allergic to soy sauce and rice makes him sneeze
• He can limbo
• Gets star billing and has his own trailer
• Has a clause in his contract specifically stating that he doesn't have to do slapstick scenes
• Dropped out of trade school to become a samurai
• His aunt's name is Sophie
• Watches too many soap operas
• Thinks the concept of Polly taking over is 'kinda sexy'
• One thing he lacks that the other Pizza Cats have: talent (according to the Narrator. And the writer who penned the title of that particular episode ... and the people who didn't buy his debut CD)
• An alternative name given to him by Polly: Muffin
• Doesn't know what a jalapeno is

• He has a tin ear
• Has a contract to do kitty litter commercials
• Doesn't like to use aftershave, but will use is it as an alternative to mouthwash when neccessary
• Thinks Speedy gives good pep talks

• Thinks he and Polly should get married and raise a family once the show's cancelled
• Believes anything can happen if you're in a cartoon (monsters, UFO's, etc.)
• Thinks he's Magic Johnson in whiskers - thanks to his new 'paw cruisers'
• Occassionally sucumbs to trances (most likely when in love)
• Although he thinks Polly's figure couldn't get more feline, he believes she'll never get a date - even skinny

Francine

• She once took piano lessons
• She's into dirt-bike racing
• She likes men who are rich (even if they're short, fat and ugly)
• Thinks a woman is nothing without a man (pft!)
• She has a nephew
• Is heading the force of back-up Pizza Cats
• Is tired of playing second banana
• Thinks skimpy, fluffy outfits are trampy
• Skilled at knitting
• Thinks Polly is much prettier then Liberace
• She owns a car
• She speaks a little french
• Hates pepperoni activists
• Her mother wouldn't let her fly
• The first thing she thinks of when somebody dies? What to charge for the memorial salad

The Narrator

• Also has his own trailer
• Has remarried at least once
• His contract does not include being insulted by animated animals
• His uncle writes the scripts
• Doesn't like sappy scenes

Big Cheese

• Has been seen in amateur video's in the providences
• Has Olivia Newton-John's part in a road company version of 'Grease' (or so he claims)
• Doesn't like people working 'his side of the street'
• Only brushes his teeth once a year
• Was deeply moved when the Wicked Witch melted
• Doesn't like it when people call his nose a banana
• Seeks atonement for the following sins: lying, cheating, swindling, larceny, endangering the lives of women and children, and making rude noises
• Is a romantic at heart
• Wants to replace Disney's Minnie Mouse
• Tofu gives him gas
• Has an account at Bloomingdales
• Doesn't like being called by his first name
• Also scared of earthquakes
• He hates Santa
• Owns more clothes, shoes and make-up then Princess Vi
• Has cousins from (Pipkipski?) who don't love him
• His father was a dirty rat
• Requires a stunt double
• Planned to make his theatrical debut as Maria Von Trapp in 'The Sound of Music'
• Hates being seen without his hair done
• Finds it amusing that he doesn't have any eyebrows
• Fancies himself an art critic
• Thinks the Pointless Sisters (a.k.a. Polly and Lucille) are a couple of babes

Princess Vi

• Is an 'eighteen-year-old burnout'
• Prefers not to eat sugar, because of the calories
• Compares herself to Madonna
• Doesn't want to be a figurehead when she grows up
• Likes Speedy to deliver her pizza
• Sends anyone into exile who messes with her munchies
• Would rather shop then eat
• Enjoys video games (just don't beat her!)
• Believes 1 + 1 = 3
• Is not very good at drawing
• Is also another very good poker player

Big Al

• Has a crush on Michelle Pfeiffer
• Has a good dental plan
• He has a wife
• Is known to be cheap
• Calls himself sensitive
• Doesn't think Speedy has the patience to be a father

Jerry

• Used to be a Maitre'd at Burbank's finest establishments
• Once posed as legendary sportscaster Vin Scully
• Like the Big Cheese, is also a romantic at heart
• Hates new directors (for their fancy camera work)
• He fancies himself to be of Spielberg's caliber (if he were a director himself)
• Thinks it's degrading for a crook to see his boss wearing eyeliner (who wouldn't?)
• His life savings is thirty-eight cents
• Is a big fan of 'The Love Boat'

Lucille

• Has a brother called Wally who's a sushi chef and a former light-weight sumo wrestler

• Has a tendancy to order the most expensive items in a restaurant, especially if someone else is paying
• Feels it's obligatory that Speedy make stupid faces at her when ever they meet
• Is very deep, sensitive and watches public television
• Once forgot her own birthday

Guru Lou

• Has a mother in-law (so where's the wife?)
• Also calls himself sensitive
• He has a drooling problem
• Thinks the Narrator is a blithering idiot
• Does not like the following: hair in his soup, mud in his jockey shorts and spiderwebs in his chocolate bars
• Enjoys reading comic books

Badbird

• Believes if you don't have anything nice to say you should shut up
• Is too cute to die
• Detests everything to do with creamed corn
• Also thinks Polly and Lucille are babes
• Doesn't have a high school diploma
• He enjoyed chemistry in high school
• His outfit is made of leather
• A therapist once advised him to sit under waterfall
• Believes the ultimate punishment is to not be invited to his birthday party
• Has a beautiful great aunt Myna, who Speedy resembles when dressed as a koo koo bird
• Thinks the Big Cheese needs a new mouthwash

Meowsma 

• Is married
• He's apparently the member of the B-team with all the talent, and can juggle flaming batons

Batcat

• Is very good at tongue-twisters because he spent three years in the first grade
• Appears to be a hit with the ladies (if the ones on Prisoner Island are anything to go by), thanks to his dance moves
• Everybody goes to his place Saturday night for poker

General Catton

• Is a part-time interior designer

Spritz T. Cat

• Has always wanted to capture a prehistoric monster
• He can write in Chinese
• Sewer swimming wasn't in his contract
• Would like to recommend that the catslash which under the circumstances would seem highly appropriate (lol)

Cannonball

• Wonders if hair-dye works on feathers

Bad Max

• Spent three years at the Actors Studio in New York
• Also hates new directors

Is 2cm shorter than Michael
Although his Youtou Masamasa sword is usually activated by "righteous anger", it has also been activated by "youthful anger", "anger at his own blunder", and "horny anger".
Early mid-development name was "Bagumaru" ("Bugmaru", maybe? Like a computer bug?)

Otama
Leader of the Nekonin clan, although Yattarou, Sukashii, and Pururun don't find this out until the end of the series.

Daisensei
Is 350 years old.
Claims to be the Nekonin clan's number one genius scientist, but is really just a dirty old man. (According to the Narrator)

Mietoru
Maximum air speed of Mach 5.
Capable of space flight (maybe?).

Nekki
Maximum underwater speed of 100 knots.
Maximum water surface speed of 1000 knots.

Gotton
Tunnel dug from Edoropolis to Takohachijou Island was 290 km long.

Nekomata Reikainosuke
Called Daisensei (Great Professor) by the cats.
It was believed in each 1000 years a great genius appears among nekonin people... but surely isn't him.
Is a strange old man who likes sake (rice wine), gambling and girls.
Despite his age is very agile (check KNT 16 episode).

Inuyama Wankoo-no-kami
Is the oo-metsuke (something like the director of an intelligence agency) of shogunate.
Is a dog who easily returns to wild state.
Likes lightpole... 
Worked once in pizza delivering when all the cats went out for a mission.

Well, in the one where they go back 15 years and Young Al tells them to confess, Polly mentions a brother, whom she used to throw mud at. I can't remember if Francine ever out and out mentions any brothers or sisters, but it is implied in the episode Shake Rattle & Roll, where she mentions giving the pop up book to her nephew.

Well, in the one where they go back 15 years and Young Al tells them to confess, Polly mentions a brother, whom she used to throw mud at. That's right! I was trying to remember if Francine said she gave the book to her brother or her nephew. Thanks for the info! I shall update the list ... you can keep the KNT facts coming, too. I'm not familiar with KNT so I'll stick with maintaining the SPC stuff.

This joke was actually brought up in two different episodes. The second time being in episode 16, Big Cheese's IQ Corral.

This was in the tournament episode "Kung Fu Kitty Contest". In the original KNT episode, Usahime's prize to the winner would actually be whatever they desired. And so Yattarou, being the goofball that he is, decides that he wants a harem. That thought ends up being his motivation during the last round. In fact, in the scene right before the round starts where he's standing completely still and sweating a bit, if you listen really closely, you can just barely hear him muttering "harem..." under his breath. At the end of the episode, he can't bring himself to say it, though. And then he ends up sneezing on Usahime, which of course makes her call for him to be banished. Yattarou then begs for her forgiveness, which ends up being his prize.
 
BTW, the "Guido tells Polly that Speedy and Bad Bird are brothers" gag is one of the few jokes that's completely the same in both SPC and KNT.

Good grief!! And people call Speedy a goofball?!  He's 10 times more moral than his Japanese counterpart!  He vvanted one of Vi's friends to have dinner vvith him and the Princess...not get a bonifide harem (as in prostitute, right?) . A date, not a night in bed! (that's against the Samurai code anyvvay!)
Though come to think of it. reading that plot vvould exlain vvhy Polly/Pururan and Lucielle/Omistu vvere in the contest, and also vvhy Polly/Puruan vvas shooting Yatarrou/Speedy dirty looks.

God,. Speedy and Yatarrou are like 2 completely different Cats here!

Again I say, the stuff they get avvay vvith in Japan novvadays is shocking!

The only real hint as to how old they are comes from one of the art books which depicts Polly progressing through the stages of her life from child to adult and shows her graduating from college; this (presumably) places her somewhere in her twenties, with Speedy and Guido falling within that same range. Francine is a bit shorter than the others and presumably younger, and yet is still old enough to own/work at the Pizza Cat, which is probably where people get the figure of 18 for her.

The book in question is called "Teyandee '94". This probably isn't the official name; I imagine Vi knows more about it than I do.
