Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom (Well, at least they tried...)

A friend showed me this scan advertising TvC coming onto the Wii. This page details another new character from the Tatsunoko side, Daimaō from the show Hakushon Daimaou.

Nothing on the Capcom side yet, but in order to keep the character select screen balanced, this should suggest that another character from each side is on the way, two in Capcom's case.

Keep hoping against hope, folks.

I had been wondering about the potential difficulty of depicting the cartoonish style of KNT characters in 3D, but if this guy's any indication, it's definitely doable.

They're pretty much the same characters regardless of what you call them, anyway. Actions (animation) speak louder than words (dialog), and all.

I swear that the KNT/SPC and Mach Go Go Go/ Speed Racer are the most requested Tatsunoko characters that peope all over the world that people are requesting.

It would be nice to see Yattarou in this game, but even if he or other KNT characters don't make the cut, perhaps if enough people keep asking about them, they could appear in a sequel (if there is one) due to popular demand.

It depends. If there's more than one representative in a franchise, Sukashii and Pururun might make the cut as well. But anyway yes, if KNT does appear then Yattarou will be a playable fighter since he is the main character.

Even so, this is a pretty neat selection. However, as I told a good friend of mine who shared this news with me, I suspect Jun will play as a semi-clone to Ken kinda like Roll was a semi-clone to Megaman back in Marvel Vs. Capcom.

Tatsunoko still has more people on their side, though, if you recall the other Wii exclusive character, that genie of theirs. I wonder who Capcom will bring in to fill in the void.

Furthermore, I wonder who would be the final boss. It's always someone from the side that isn't Capcom, so who do you all think is big and bad enough to fill that roll? 's gotta have a giant form of some sort, that's what happened with Apocalypse and Onslaught (and Abyss, too, but I seldom count MvC2 as an actual game than I see it as Capcom's version of MUGEN).
