I took some rest after the end of Souma's manga translation, but now it's time for another work. It's a very cool manga starred by  New York Pizzacats  (The Sundance Kid / Maikeru (Michael) Cosmopolis / Purinsu (Prince) DeeDee / Madonna). Its scans is made available at Violet's site.  This manga isn't as long as the Souma's work, thus I intend to work in a slower pace. I've been pretty busy lately, so I shouldn't like to put more pressure over myself.
One can notice the strange page numbering. This happens because despite “Kyattou Ninden Teyandee Ryou” book is read from the right to left page like all Japanese books, only for this comic the orientation is different.  It starts from the last page of the book, but is read like western books. Sadly the entire book isn't suitable for all ages, so not everybody could see all of its scans (available at Nihonbare board).

Title: Yankee the Cats!
Author: Tatematsuru Mikado

I can edit it, but I won't have time for a while.  If someone else wants to try, I won't mind.  if you don't mind waiting, I'll be glad to do it.

Strange how the manga titles the show as "Cat Shinobi Legend Teyandee" instead of "Cat Ninja Legend Teyandee", despite ninja and shinobi being two of the same thing.

Tatsuya Souma's manga uses that same translation as well, IIRC.

OK, I finished one more page. It's your turn, Cloud-boy. Speedy Wink
It's hard to translate when Japanese person pretend to be speaking English. For example, I was stuck on the translation of “SP”, only after some research I got it was a pseudo English term.
Changing the subject, I wish to know your opinion about how would be the best way to spell “Rabii”  (that is the way written in Japanese, Ra-bii, with the last vowel prolonged pronounciation). I wrote “Rabbii” to be more like “rabbit”, but I prefer some English native speaker suggestion. By the way Rabbii looks younger than Usa-hime, and how cute is her! If I had a daughter I wished that she looks like Rabbi.

I think we've spelled it "Rabby" before. Like "Kitty" or "Doggy", I suppose.

I didn't disappeared at all, but have been quite busy lately at my job and family. Nevertheless I am doing knt translations yet.
Now I beg for your help to translate the frame attached below. It's about Big Al Dente's American counterpart. Inside the box is written "Jorii Maadokku Choukan". "Choukan" shows his charge, and could be Secretary, Director or Chief. What title would fit best? Another doubt is how to transliterate his name. I'm thinking to write as "Jolly Murdoch", but I want  to hear native English speaker opinion.

Jolly Murdoch seems right to me. I'm not sure what the most appropriate translation for "choukan" would be, however.

Anyway, his appearance reminds me of General Pepper from the Star Fox games.

from what I found, choukan means: morning newspaper, chief, secretary (government) or birds eye view, but I don't think it would be the last one

That's a hard guess work, I must admit. Moreover, we don't know if the manga's author knowledge about USA is good or poor. When I first read that frame, I thought "choukan" could be Secretary of Defense or chief of intelligence.

from what I found, choukan means: morning newspaper, chief, secretary (government) or birds eye view, but I don't think it would be the last one
The way it is written (長官), could be chief or secretary. Thus morning newspaper (朝刊) and birds eye view (鳥瞰) are ruled out. Thanks anyway.

If he's a police man, "Chief" would be the most likely translation.
