sadly, this link isn't to a commercial for the KNT Famicom game. but, this commercial -- which is for a Famicom Disk game based on the OAV, "Gall Force: Eternal Story" -- was announced by a voice actor that every KNT fan is sure to recognize. care to take a guess after watching the commercial?  Guido Smirk

If that's not the KNT Narrator, then I've failed at KNT.  Yikes!
None the less, awesome find, AM2K.  Speedy Wink

(No way I could've seen HAL Laboratory at the end of the commercial. O_O
HAL made anime-type games?! Wow, I can't recall the last HAL game without "Kirby" or "Smash" in it's title.)

yep, that was the narrator, Kenyuu Horiuchi. and, this was back when HAL Lab was an independent company. it wasn't their first game ever (they made MSX games way before this), but it was their first game for a Nintendo-made console. i think it was also the only anime-based game they ever made. you can check out this site for some info on HAL Laboratory's past works, each sorted by console (excluding MSX): http://www.hallab.co.jp/corporate/works/index.html [please note that the page is in Japanese only]. anyway, great guess, D-Mac!  Grin

now...how about this one?

http://gameads.gamepressure.com/tv_game_commercial.asp?ID=2289

this one's a commercial for a PC Engine (TurboGrafx-16) game that is part of Hudson Soft's top-rated "Tengai Makyou" series. only one of their games was released outside Japan, and that one was the Neo-Geo fighter. can anyone recognize the announcer's voice in this one?  Grin

tadashii! Kabuki and Yattarou sounded pretty much alike, only Kabuki has as much ego as Karamaru (he calls himself "oresama", which is very flashy).

I've never even HEARD the KNT Narrator, and I can tell that's him...  (sad, I know...)  Just sounds like a Narrator to me...  (The only characters I heard in KNT were Polly and Lucielle...)

Yeah, that second one sounds like a Yattaro...  I imagined him sounding like that.
