The Narnia Series is finally arriving on the big screen, starting with 'The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe'.
From what I seen on trailers, it looks like it might reach the same league as Lord of the Rings.
I loved the story book and think the on-screen adaption of C.S. Lewis's tale will be great family entertainment in the fantasy/adventure genre. Anybody familiar with the world of Narnia?

i have the "original" TV drama adaptation of Narnia done by the bbc in the early 90's on DVD. That version of it was awesome.

I hope the movie does it as much justice as the BBC did all those years ago.

I'm familiar with the stories, and I also remember hearing about this flick coming out soon.
I doubt I'll see it though... at least not unless I've got someone to go with.

I also can't help but laugh at the fact that this is coming out a short while after Lord of the Rings finished up.
Coincidence? Probably not.

Is it a bad thing? Nahh~ It isn't. I just find it funny, that's all.

I'm familiar with the book series. Although I've only read the 'the lion, the witch' one, but I am familiar with it. I loved the book and I've seen both the cartoon version and the TV live action version of it. Both were really good and both were almost very close to the book. I need to read it again so that I can be familiar with it once the movie comes out.

Awesome! I've been reading the Chronicles of Narnia since I was little. Still have several books to read, though. This is the only book series I've ever really cared to read so I'm glad we're gettng a movie out of it. I can't wait. ^_^

So far, I've read The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and The Last Battle. Sure I may have read the last book in the series already, but I don't care, it doesn't spoil anything for me.

I might watch it (I doubt in theaters though) because I likes the book (its been like 6 years though)

Ever notice how they're doing lots of movies based on classic books and old superheroes nowdays?

It's because Hollywood's running out of ideas.
