First off, this game will kick all ass. Although it hasn't been named yet, it already makes Twisted Metal: Black look like Twisted Metal 2.

Second, I'm really glad they're including the classic single-player and co-op modes. It kinda worried me that they originally didn't plan on doing it at all. When I first saw those vids with the factions, helicopters, enemy leaders and turrets I had a sick feeling in my stomach thinking the game had jumped the shark or something, especially when I had heard they wouldn't have a traditional character setup because then the characters wouldn't nearly be as dimensional that way. But thank goodness it's been confirmed it would have most of the stuff that's always been in the TM franchise and I was much more comfortable with that.

I also love the idea of simplified advanced attacks. Pressing just one button to do the freeze? Why yes, thank you. :3 I don't mind the D-pad being used for that new purpose, we have analog controls to take care of the steering now.

I just hope they don't focus too much on the Nuke mode and slack off on the single-player mode, but hey, this is Dave Jaffe we're talking about and although he may have had SP in hindsight, I'm confident he won't screw it up.

It'll have a T rating but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll be toned down or anything; TM1 and TM2 did just fine with those kinda ratings. If anything, an M rating would only hurt the game because it would end up being more audience-restrictive.

And with all this talk about customizability, they'd better have customizable controls that allow to make it like Run n' Gun control scheme at least.

Might as well post a vid...

Yup. The clowns you see in the videos are just some sort of faction based on Sweet Tooth so yeah, it'll definitely have other characters.
