Rememberance Day, November 11th.
My Grandfather fought in WW II over in Japan.
God rest his soul, and all other veterans.
Please pay your respects.

my respects go to my grandfather, who was one of many U.S. Navy sailors during WWII.
May the Lord rest his soul as well. *takes hat off and bows head*

Today is meant for ALL people who died in ALL wars, not mainly WW I.

My father lost his father, brothers and sisters during WW II. One of my uncles was missed during a battle flight, and another sunk with the war ship where he was aboard. No need to say how Japan commited barbarism against Chinese people, and how was defeated by nuclear weapons. War is stupid, but unavoidable when conflicts between men is strong. Men have fought themselves since the dawn of the civilization, and will do so for a long time, I afraid. One day, I hope, humanity will discover that the way we are living is destroying our species.

It is mainly a WW1 thing, but hey, you should give your respect to these men all the time, not just on specific days.
