If you remember from the old forum, I have been working on a SPC game that is alot like the NES game, as it is a run-jump-scratch style game. So far you can play as speedy or guido (must add polly sprites) and you can fight a never ending supply of crows. All to be done using gamemaker v6

To do list
-Add polly
-Building and background sprites
-Add character selection screen
-Add sound
-Devise levels
-Special attacks

Problems
-One way platforms
-SCROLLING BACKGROUND

if you can help or come up with ideas I'd be glad to hear em

I just need a place to host it. I tried freewebs for another game but it downloaded crazy slow and corrupted the file, else I'd have a demo out right now.

Well, I may not be any great shakes at the technical specs of making a video game (apart from, perhaps, using Photoshop to try and tweak some sprites), I AM good at coming up with ideas...special moves, plot elements, possible original bosses, mini-games...if you like, I'd love to brainstorm with you on this! Just let me know, okay?

anyways I havent touched this for a while but I still have. My biggest problem is sprites. If I can get those its easyer from there. I'll talk more later, tired now

Hmm... Well, I Need to practice Sprite-Making (perticuly in the Street Figfhter Alpha Style Shading.) If you want some help, I'll see what i can do... And if need be, i can even compose some music for you.

I really want to help, though my skills (other than Photoshop) are focused physically.

So call me up if you need to move a 4 stroke boat engine around  Smiley.

(I'd like to try spriting, though I'd need some examples of a finished product.)

Well, I'm no great shakes with Sprites, as I've said, but for boss ideas/gameplay elements/special moves/items, I'll be glad to offer whatever input I can. In addition, if you're planning on getting music from other sources, I'll be glad to look up any suitable tracks that we might be able to use. Just let me know, ok?

Sorry no, what I give them is what they get... That is if I ever decide to start working on this again.

But since you were wonderin about weapons, I plan to give em the same attacks the did in the famicom version, with slight changes to thrown weapons and upgrades on the super attacks, plus probably a few other things to spice it up
