it might not be as good as episodes IV - VI, but at least we'll get to see how Anakin became Darth Vader.

Oh, I'm defenitely going to see it. There's no way a full time movie goer like me is gonna miss this. I'm just not sure when. Should I see it on a midnight showing, or the night it comes out, or during the weekend (like from Fri-Sun)? I'm just not sure. Can any of you guys help me on this or give me some advice? I would like to ask you guys to come with me to see it, but I don't think any of you actually go or live in or around Lynchburg, VA. So much for that. Anyway, I'm defendetly going.

This has to be among the must-sees of this year and the origin of Darth Vader is about to begin right of the big screen.
Episode 3 starts showing today, but I will it at a point with friends and family.
The highlights are also to die for like the wookie army and the jedi fight to the death on a lava-coated planet.
Among the big movies of 2005. Should be smashing

Feel the force this summer.

Meh... I saw it.
I thought it was ok... although... Vader's scream could've been more... Emotional... rather than... well... not emotional...

I can understand the guy who does the voice might've been concerned about hurting his voice (Being old an all) but maby they could've gotten at least a yell out of him...

Or maby I'm just being too picky....

But ouch! >_<
No wonder Vader needed the "fancy pants and mask" to live... what happened to him was PAINFUL!!!!

I know! He totally deserved it though. He knew better than to do all those bad things he did...

i saw it last night, and one thing i can say is that it was better than the first two episodes. as most or all of us know, Lucas relied heavily on technology for these episodes, so his company relied too much on special effects, which wasn't a good thing since they didn't focus much on the storyline. but, in Episode III, everything was shown pretty clearly -- what drove Anakin to the Dark Side, who the Sith really is, how Anakin got his face all mutilated, how and why Luke and Leia were separated at birth, and how he became Darth Vader.

in conclusion, i have three words that best describe Episode III: oh, the irony!

I have seen episode 3 on tuesda last week and it definately earned its reputation for being the darkest in the Star Wars saga. Anakin Skywalker becomes the tool for almost complete Jedi annihilation.
The film did well of occuring straight after the climax of the clone wars and an interesting character in General Grievous. Count Dooku only lasted in the opening sequence during Palpatine's fake kidnapping.
The droids at the end had their memories erased.

This is the final nail in a dynasty of sci-fi fantasy. Well done George Lucas
