I had a pretty good time. Matter of fact, I'm still spending time with my friends as I speak. No alcohol though. That stuff's overrated.

I'm certainly glad 2005 came out much better than 2004 so I have a good year to remember this time. I hope 2006 will be even better. ^_^

i didn't do much, though i'll treat myself to a day out today.

i'd have to say that 2005 was possibly my worst year. losing my grandfather, a hurricane that we ran into without realizing, a hole in my mouth that i'm likely to be stuck with for months -- those pretty much made my year. i hope 2006 won't be as bad as last year.

Heh, I got one of my wisdom teeth removed myself recently. Doesn't seem so bad to me but that's just me.

I kept the tooth as a nice souvenir. Too bad it's chipped.

2006 will be the year of dog (the Chinese lunar calendar doesn´t begin at January 1st, I´m not sure when, but the new year will arrive someday at February). I wish this year will have more and more SPC/KNT fans activities.

Yeah so for now it's still Tori-doshi. (Rooster year) This year isn't over yet by that calendar.

In the show Juuni Senshi Bakuretsu Eto Rangers, the sign of the rooster is played by Tart (Maria Kawamura). Another show to use the Juunishi is Fruits Basket.

It will be the year the Eto Ranger character Pochirou represents.

I never watched Eto Ranger, but it seems to be very intereting. It's cool to have one character for each animal sign of Chinese astrology.
It's hard to find characters for all signs in the SPC/KNT. I found the dog already; and remember to see the dragon (1st episode), the ox (who fought against Yattarou), the rabbit ( or her mom), the  sheep (), the tiger, the horse, the pig and the rat (the latest four are Shogun counselors). Is there anyone who knows  any SPC/KNT characters corresponding to the snake, the monkey or the rooster?
Sadly there are no signs for cat, crow or fox.

And today I was in some food store and saw something Etoren related. There is a beer called Kirin Ichiban. Kirin is a mythical deer/dragon creature. In Eto Rangers it is Time Place Transmitting Machine Kirinda that takes them to each Novel World. It looks neat.

  battles a robot snake in The Terror Of Prisoner Island, and battles a rooster in the tournament from Kung Fu Kitty Contest.
The robot "Fingers" from Gone With The Ginzu is a chimp, but I'd say that's close enough to a monkey.

I disagree.  The SPC fanbase has only grown larger over the years, and now we have new encodes and the ability to share SPC related media/info on a large scale.  The show is easier for people to enjoy now than it ever was before, with torrents of the Ep's.  SPC will see its day in the light again, its just a matter of time.
