So it's getting close to that time of year when we have to start asking ourselves...

-Exactly how old is too old to be trick-or-treating?
-What's my costume gonna be?
-Am I gonna stay home and scare the pants off all those candy-happy school-children?
-What's my pumpkin design gonna look like?

and this year...
-What movie am I gonna see?

Typically for me, I like to watch the 24hr live Ghosthunters event in between trick-or-treating, handing out king-size candy bars, and toting around to various festive parties. I like to get my fix of Harry Potter, Charlie Brown and the Garfield Halloween specials.

But this year, if all goes well, it will be a little more special to me. I heard "Ghostbusters" will be re-released into the theaters in digital format just in time for Halloween this year; I have no way to describe the awesomeness of this through text.

I am also looking for suggestions for Aster's Halloween costume...  :7

I suppose when they hand you a pack of cigarettes instead of candy*

Something like this?

Heh love Ghostbusters as well! And it's got Sigourney Weaver in it, so it's bound to be good Tongue Hope they'll re-release it here in theaters too.

Awww.. you can still carve a pumpkin and celebrate that way if you want ;7

Hahaha.. no my costume won't look like that this year.. If I dress up, you better believe I'm donning a Ghostbuster's pack, complete with slide trap.

I don't really like to carve pumpkins... I like to draw on them. It's... somehow nicer that way...
Anyhow, yeah, nothing special planned, and yes Ghostbusters rocks the socks, but Dawn of the Dead is my Halloween movie pick, every year.

Halloween is the best holiday. Dressing up and getting free candy and watching horror flicks = good times. I go Trick-or-Treating whenever I feel like it, but haven't done so in a while. It's easier if I can go with one of my friends who has small children, that's always a good excuse. I haven't terrorized anyone in a while either, so that might be an option too. Or I'll just be lazy and eat candy while watching scary movies with some pals, it all depends. *shrugs*

Me? I'm having a tiny party at my place. Just bought a tone of candy. As for my costume, I found a replica for a Bioshock splicer welders mask. So I'm dressing in 1960's classyness with that on. I'll attempt to build and paint my own EVE Hypo. It was requested last night at my friend's place that we watch Ghostbusters. Also at said place, we made "Halloween" lanterns out of glass jars. My jar lantern's name was: Luna "The Business" Satellite.

My Halloween is so far looking good. I hear some people already have snow. But that's no excuse to be a chicken about going trick or treating, unless that's what your costume is. Oh, JEZUZ!!! I haven't carved my pumpkin yet.

Have a happy Halloween and Nightmare Night.

I'll probably just sit in front of My PC and play Team Fortress 2 all night. Halloween in Brazil isn't big deal. It's hardly a holiday at all. No pumpkins, no trick-or-treating... just some little parties where some people go on "scary" costumes.

Got three pumpkins..not sure when I'll have time to carve them or what designs I'll even do. Perhaps I'll have time on Sunday.

Been to a couple Halloween parties so far, going to a party tonight, then going out to cause mayhem with a couple friends of mine Sat night. One friend is going as the Hamburglar and I'm going as a LMFAO zombie... because it's a good excuse to dress up in 80s fashion accessories ;7

Trick-or-treating is still on, regardless of how much freaking snow we're getting..ugh..

Will post Halloween related photos later if they aren't too horrible/embarrassing *grin*

Hope you all enjoy yourselves, regardless of world location.

Got the sweets ready (Maoam and Haribo but I think they may need topping up with some good old Swizzels Matlow...),
Got the visuals ready ("Halloween Spectacular of Spooky Doom" then Alien).
No costume though, unless I spy something cool on the way into work.

Well, considering one of my buds in my class got a serious NJP and possible court martial, I doubt I will be having very much fun this Halloween.

Insane PT and field days abound!

Too bad.. No running around in silly costumes it seems. However, all the more time to plan the 2012 one Tongue Pirate costume maybe, worshipping the Flying Spagetti Monster? Heh come to think of it, I'd do that probably. Not that there was much celebration here, no pumpkins in sight anywhere. Students seem to try to celebrate it in recent years though, I hear, but apparently they aren't copying America's house dressing tradition yet, at least for Halloween that is. Christmas, there they go all out-- although that still pales in comparison to you guys who started this trend.
Ehm, but I digress.
Next impromanga artist stuff later today!

Meh... my costume didn't end up happening (the stupid snow destroyed my plans), and I only had an hour to carve a pumpkin for myself... but this is what I've got. I chose the design for the top pumpkin but didn't carve it, I carved the bottom one. It's supposed to be Puss in Boots from Shrek doing that cute eye thing... awww..... :3

This sucks compared to Aster's, but many years ago I painted this on a pumpkin, as an angry Polly was the scariest thing I could think of. Excuse the bad pics, my scanner isn't working for some reason, so I took these with my webcam and phone, respectively. I'll try to get better quality if my scanner starts working again.

Not really, I wouldn't have been able to tell otherwise.
