Wasn't there a whole conspiracy around how this was kinda a scam since Mike deleted all the negative comments, eventually disabling comments?

From what I've read, I tend to believe Greg Pabich (the project leader), and I have trouble believing James Rolfe & friends would support a scam. Maybe I haven't read enough about it, but from what I gathered, to me it looked like it was a few critical voices with a lot of me-too following as is pretty commonplace on the internet.. Arguments like it's surely a scam since you can download Cheetahmen ROMs from TPB fail to make an impression on me
I'd frown upon deleting and disabling comments, but I'd view that in itself as nothing more than a bad attempt at stopping the flamers.

FYI, I think I should mention this: the crazyness of it all made me laugh and couldn't help but support the project, so what I posted here might be colored toward the positive. If it's a scam though, I'll be an unhappy camper come december
