Some already know that Pizza Cats led me to my interest in the field of voiceover. I even gave a "Special Thanks" to SPC in the credits of the first major game I directed. By strange happenstance, things recently came full circle and I found myself directing Sonja Ball, voice of Polly Esther via Skype, for the lead role of Queen Hera in the soon-to-be-released PS4/PC indie game, Apotheon.

You can hear her in this trailer:

I also had her try for the role of Aphrodite. Her read was beautiful.

In a show of complete and total unprofessionalism, following our recording session I let my inner fanboy show just a little bittle, letting her know that SPC is what made this moment possible for me. (Language warning here. Sheee's quite the goofy jokester!)

How many miles of awesome is that? I would say a certain meme, but it's been overdone for a while now. If you can, you can invite her over to our little forum and see what happens.

And since we're talking about the game, I'll admit that I auditioned for the game... twice. Like Mac, I'm also a voice-actor, but I'm trying to get my foot in the door with some original works to outweigh the fanworks I've been lucky enough to get. I do a killer Antoine D'Coolette though.

You're so lucky!

As for me, I haven't done any voice acting, but I would like to try some sooner than later. In fact, I would love to do voice acting due to the fact that I can be as animated as I want. That, and I love cartoons and anime.
