Nice technique of drawing you have, with those circle and lines, it's help a lot for the proportion of a character, I'm currently study this technique and I mean it, spriting needs a lot of patience!

Good stuff, especially the animation.  What programme did you use?

The only crit I have is the 'hairy' lines. Try and ween yourself off of these and use the minimum number of strokes to describe the shape.

As far as proportion goes the necks need to be shorter as well as the arms:

This is a rough guide that I worked out, as I noticed most of the characters follow this format (more heads for taller chars), although I tend to draw my chars slightly taller because the chibi style is a bit fiddly.

Very useful, thanks. And yes, I have often noticed myself that the necks are too long, but unfortunately not until it's too late. Yikes! I'll try to keep that in mind. And yeah, I'm really bad about the "hairy" lines. That's something that will probably take me a while to get over, but I'll work at it. The program I use for most of my digital artwork is OpenCanvas, along with a Wacom drawing tablet.

Since it's been a while since I got anything done, I figured I should at least share these doodles from my school notes with you.

Speedy's looking pretty content despite the fact that many parts of him aren't completely drawn yet.

The last thing you want to see if you're an evil giant robot of the week. In fact, most likely WILL be the last thing you see.

How she manages to stand with one partially-drawn leg and one non existant leg I'll never know.

Good stuff Smiley Its good how you always seem to get the armour to look right. I often struggle with helmets.
Loving the Cats Eye slash. Speedy's expression just screams 'Bye bye robot!'

Even though the weather has ben particularly mild around here for this time of year, I felt like drawing something wintery. Hope to get this cleaned up and colored soon.

It's a good thing for Speedy and Guido that the snowman has the frying pan. Then again there's also that cup of seering-hot chocolate. Either way, I'd still be running for the tree-line. I would suggest that they return the helmet and pray for a quick and/or painless death.

Let's assume that frostbite will numb the impact of Speedy getting whacked by frying pan  Smiley

Just to let everyone know my drawing side is still alive... Tongue After many failed attempts, I think I've started a halfway decent attempt at coloring that snow picture. If you want to see how it's progressing, click here.
