Title: Ages of KNT chars? Post by: Daisensei on October 21, 2006, 03:22:51 pm I haven't found anything about the age of KNT chars yet, except for :gurulou: (he is 350 years old, according to Meka meka ninpou hidenchou). Any information about how old are other chars would be a guess or a fanfic data. So I want to know if anyone have a guess or other data about the ages of each KNT (or SPC) chars.
My guesses are: :speedy:, :guido: and :polly: and :lucille:: early 20s. :francine: and :violet:: 15-16. :badbird:: 25. :bigcheese:: mid 30s. :bigal:: early 40s. Title: Re: Ages of KNT chars? It's pretty interesting that :francine: is in charge of the Pizza Cat despite being the youngest member of the staff. She's certainly business-minded beyond her years though, so she fits the role perfectly. :D
I believe that in SPC, :violet: once mentions that she's 18. Of course, this might not apply to her KNT counterpart (who has a younger-sounding voice, IMO). In the time travel episode, the past version of :bigal: is noticably younger-looking than his present-day counterpart, yet the past version of :bigcheese: looks about the same. Not exactly sure how this relates to their actual ages, but it's interesting to note. Title: Re: Ages of KNT chars? Post by: Daisensei on December 16, 2006, 03:28:42 pm In the Teyandee Dai Jiten (http://www.pluto.dti.ne.jp/~zumi-fox/teyande/dic/dic-a.htm#okara) (Big Dictionary of Teyandee) it was guessed the age of Okara (Carla) at about 20 (in the KNT31 episode, Okara promised 15 years in the past to be the bride of Karamaru, when probably they were 5-6 years old).

I came to like the idea of Guido being the oldest. Before I had him pegged as the youngest. Everyone´s older now! Probably doesn´t mean anything to anyone else but I´m writing a fic where bdays are important, so yeah. The years aren´t that necessary, I just like to be accurate ... Otherwise, they'd be hitting on late 20s/30s and even 60s and 50s now.

Without us, then it would slowly fall into the annals of time. Sorry if that sounds depressing a little but I do think deeply into such things. However, it is a nicer way to look at it. I've recently been thing about how old characters from series such as SPC or KNT would be now and it depresses me somewhat to think Vi, for example, would be say in her 30s now and not that cutesy little princess will remembered from the show. 2- The age of the characters is never mentioned anywhere in KNT, not even in the official manga. 3- They never make jokes about Pupurun being old in KNT. Since Sukashi and Yattaro are too immature to be 20 (they act like Teenagers), Pupurun cant be more than one or two years older than them. 4- In animes where boys acts like idiots girls to be more madure, unless they are some kind of parody or stereotype. Second scan, about Yattaro: "Tak jak jego towarzysze ma 20 lat (This means, Yattaro is 20 years old), marne 126 cm. wzrostu (He's 126 cm tall) i 40 kilo wagi (40 Kg, that is 88 Lb weight)" About Sukashii: "Wiek ok. 20 lat (He is about 20 years old), 143 cm wzrostu i 55kg (126 cm tall and 121 Lb weight)" And last but not last Pururun: "Wiek około 20 (As Sukashi, She is about 20 years old), 130 cm miłego dla oka kociego ciała i 35 kg wagi (130 cm "nice for eyes" cat's body and 77 Lb weight)" Well this is next example where we can only guess at age of most KNT chars. I came to like the idea of Guido being the oldest. Before I had him pegged as the youngest. Everyone´s older now! Probably doesn´t mean anything to anyone else but I´m writing a fic where bdays are important, so yeah. The years aren´t that necessary, I just like to be accurate ... I mean, in what timeframe is SPC set anyway? 8O hmm i always thought guido was more a decembery type person Bleh! That post of mine is way old. I have new (better) bdays for everybody now. Seems like a common thing in anime, to know the characters bdays. Wish we could've known this about the Cats (among many other things!). :guido: is definitely born in August, that guy is a Leo! i also asked myself how long emperor fred is mental sick. i mean it must be at least 15 years as well oh and my opinion about pollys age;in "samurai savings time" polly talks about something she did to her brother when she was six...of course it doesnt have to mean anything but 15+6 doesnt even sound that wrong. though we cant say it that precise anyways right....? According to that episode, :badbird: was a very small child fifteen years ago. By the looks of things no younger than 5 and no older than 10. This would mean he'd be around 20-25. I'd imagine the cats to be a similar age. 21 does sound about right for :polly:. It's interesting she should mention her brother and something she did when she was 6 years old, during an episode where she'd gone back in time 15 years ... a random hint? There are some brothers and other relatives mentioned in SPC, but I'm not sure about KNT, so I doubt that counts as "official", but it probably makes some good fanfic fodder.

About the KNT, I think the main three are old enough to get a driving license back then ( 1990), but young enough to still act immature, so I guess they are about 18-21.
