First two I can think of. Speedy: Die Hard. I don't think Speedy could resist delivering a line like: Yippy Ki Yay Mother Fecker! If you haven't seen Jim Carrey in The Mask, it would be rather hard to explain how 1/2 of him is a goofy, lanky bank worker (much like Speedy is a goofy, lanky pizza delivery cat.) Granted, it'd be bending the characters a little bit from their original state, however I'd still love to see that movie adaptation. :) Speedy + The Mask (the actual mask) = Priceless ...
