@Harmonex:Patient is a virtue However the zips (well, rars, I hate zips) are all available on my personal site limegarden.net/KNTManga and if you ask why then it is so that I can delete them in case of legal issues. PS: If anyone who has completly read the manga would click on it, then I can tell how many people actually enjoyed the manga As for my future plansAs Harmonex said the scanlation was what I did on this forum. However I have other projects running as well. One of them is Hero Of Allacrost which is a Open Source game (we need more programmers by the way!). Further I'm busy with a mech game sim with a good friend of mine. And finally I'm also busy with preparing my internship as game developer. There is also a story that I want to write for quite sometime and there at least two design documents waiting for me. I think it's clear I have a lot of things still going on. As for this forum, I don't think I will be active beyond this thread (don't worry, I will still folow this thread) but I can't afford to waste to much time chatting, so I will ignore other threads on purpose. If you want to keep track of me, you can always follow my blog on limegarden.net (just register on my feed if you worry about missing me ranting about something completly silly) and if you need to contact me, just send me a pm. Well, I think this is pretty much farewell. You know how to contact me .

Was Yattarou laughing at Sukashii being dead? And Pururun (flirt!), do not compliment Sukashii! Love this page! Yes, Yattarou was laughing because Sukashii "is dying" but the heroric reason was not shown which made him happy as this was Sukashii second heavy battle which was not covered by the artist. This part of the manga was just a battle of ego's in which the character have as goal to be recongized as a main character and you can read in the boxes if they succeeded or not, which is why Pururun doesn't care about complimenting. I hope that this explains it a bit.

Samurai Pizza Cats / Teyandee! Discussion / Distrubution KNT Manga
|
on: September 02, 2008, 04:11:00 pm

Ok, I have decided to write a bit about the distribution of the almost finished Tatsuya Souma's KNT manga translation. I don't have a degree in rights, but my father works for a copyright organization, my brother studies the financial law so I do know a few things about this. The goal is not to scare you from it, but just to make you aware of what the laws are. It might be different for you, but keep this article in mind. Since I hope that people will distribute this and spread the love we all have for KNT I do want to tell you a few things. 1. Scanlation (translating a manga) without approval of the copyright holder is illegal. Yes, the scanlation is in fact not legal. A lot of people don't know this, but now you know. 2. Distributing copyrighted material is only allowed with the explicit consent of the copyright holder. We don't have it and if we do we can not extend it to you. 3. Download copyright material is in most countries (unlike point 2) illegal. Some countries allow it. Keep in mind that distrubuting someone else copyright material is always illegal. 4. Even if you have the untranslated version legal, it does not excuse you for the illegal version (aka the scanlation). 5. Most laws have a section that goes something like "Citizens have to be aware of the law". This is to prevent people from "Oh... I didn't know that!". it's your civil duty to be aware of the laws (whether you live in Japan, US, Mars, Jupiter or on ISS) So the conclusion we can draw from the above is that we are actually doing something that is really illegal. However we also have exceptional circumstances. 1. The manga is not translated and this was the only means to make it available for those who do not understand Japanese. 2. We are fans of the serie and/or creator of the serie and this is a way to promote and/or create more fans. This is in the best interest of the serie and/or creator (more fans==more cash) Personally I don't mind how you distribute it as long as you don't remove the original author ("Tatsuya Souma") or ask money for it. I would like to ask you not to change the content at all as those who have worked on it have done it for free and they should deserve to be recognized for it. Further any distribution is your own responsibility. If the manga gets ever translated, your biggest exceptional circumstance will no longer apply and that would be your strongest defense.

@Gabya: You just want to copy me But thanks for the compliment, I think of our teamwork as checkers. My turn, his turn, my turn, his turn, his turn (he cheated!), my turn, my turn, my turn... Wait I think I made a mistake. How can I begin doing anything if I don't have any translation? Daisensei: "What!?" does indeed fit well. Nine... eight... seven... six... Nine... @Daisensei: Yes, that make sense. I checked the scanned pages and they are double pages. Apparently I hadn't given it any thought when I saved the edited file. And yes, it's incredible to see throw away money, though I wished she would send it to me instead @kidkaramaru: Thanks, we really appriciate that. Though Daisensei does the translation, which is more work than copying text from the internet and putting it in a picture, so he deserves most of the praise Monthly Hits on Photobucket: 1350 (+300) PhotoBucket Gallery (all images)Box.Net Backup

Thanks Sorry, that I haven't done much, but I had a lot of tests and other silly school stuff like assignments and so on Anyway, I will make it up by text replacing all pages. On another note: I will be gone during the next week and I won't have internet for the next four weeks. Anyway, just have a little more patient as I work on the files

I don't understand what Yattarou is saying about him getting less appearances or Otama talking about "Has he always been this way?".
He is not acting as his usual self (acting outside his role) because he didn't get enough attention and it takes him a bit of time to act "normal". At the end of SPC series he wasn't allowed in the mega cat robot and he has been mocking then as well. It's something similiar, I think.
