Huh! There's quite a bit of shading that I'm not used to in this show here! Looks good.

This was a favorite of mine in SPC, but I am oh too curious to see it's original KNT form.

Actually, I'd keep Yatterman No. 2 and kick Joe in place of...well..ANYONE (Though Speedy is always welcome XD). She fights with some kind of electric baton, last I saw, so she wouldn't necessarily be a clone of Yatterman No. 1.

As I said, three Gatchaman characters is too much. Ryu, Chun-Li, and Alex get away with this by being representatives of three different Street Fighter series-es, Ryu representing the very first game, Chun-Li II, and Alex III. And while Doronjo is from Yatterman herself, she can also be pegged into representing the Time Bokkan series on the whole, as I'm told that the three bumbling villains from all the series-es are actually Doronjo's gang, just under a new alias.

Don't ask me how that works, but it works.

I'm well aware that Gatchaman is prolly THE head Tatsunoko program, but I'm slightly disappointed with their selection for the UAS new characters if they're just going to add characters from series-es that have already been established by earlier additions to the roster instead of anyone from different shows.

That'd be nice if at the very least it meant we could get Joe the Condor out of there (Look, we already have Ken and Jun, we do NOT need a third Gatchaman character), but this video of Frank West gameplay confirms the sloppiness of that one site's coding.

Uh...counting the confirmed Tekkaman Blade...that's five characters. While it was stated that it was going to be five characters at one point, it was restated to four.

Not that this makes the Pizza Cats chances any higher, but still, something is wrong here.

I am taken by surprise, yet at the same time not, for I do recall seeing "Tekkaman Blade" being distributed under the name "Teknoman".

Well, this is truly our last chance. If it helps any, "Teknoman", while now held by Media Blasters, was originally licensed by Saban. And we all know who else they were responsible for.

Though to kick something into the pot, while she's got a money thing going on, she's also surrounded by bells. The one on her collar, on her dress (apron?), heck, even on the tip of her tail.

Okay, now this is a little more even than five, though it make the overall roster one character lopsided...unless two of those people are gonna be two row eating big ass characters like Lightan and PTXWhatever the hell it's name is.

STILL, if Kotaku is even hoping for some love for our favorite felines, our voices are getting stronger. CAPCOM! You'd better be listening!

If the demand was any indication, I'd say yes. As I've said many a time, it's amazing how hard the Cats are requested amongst other characters from BOTH sides.

Ouch. It's bad enough that we already know that licensing issues would keep them from being included, but for the people heading the game to say themselves that clamor for the Pizza Cats were the "oddest request they've got"?

Maybe we should just move this thread and be done with it. XD;;

An interview with producer Ryota Niitsuma about TvC:UAS that, among other things, pretty much confirms that the new characters thing is a go.

I wish I had a ps3 or 360.... why isn't it for the ps2! X3

You'd think with the near similar graphics, uh?

Oh, and I heard that Ocean Group is gonna be dubbing the game! That means we'll be able to hear the following actors voicing the following characters:

Janyse Jaud - Morrigan
Angie Beers - Roll (she did her in MegaMan: Powered Up!)
Randall Wiebe - Dr. Thomas Light (Roll's Ending)

Just to name a few.

That'd be pretty neat if it happens, I rather like OG. Though I wonder if they're going to voice all the characters. I mean, I think Kyle Hebert's been established as the voice of Ryu nowadays, wonder if he'd do it one more time along with the SFIV voice of Chun-Li, but more importantly, they gonna try to dub the Tatsunoko crew? I can only wonder what "ARA HORA SA SEI" can come out as, plus if the Cats DO get in, would they try to emulate the Saban VAs or do a take on the Nyanki?

SO MANY QUESTIONS. DJKHKLJGHF CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS GAME

Word from The Fighter's Generation is that if TvC: UAS does good here in the states, we might (NOT CONFIRMED, but the word is out) just see a sequel for the PS3 and 360! See, according to one of the heads, the game was originally done with the Wii in mind, especially considering the graphics. To attempt a port for the other two systems would mean that it would just make more sense to straight up do a sequel from scratch instead.

If that happens and we're once again robbed of some SPC/KNT action in the US version coming out, at least their chances wouldn't be dashed completely if this sequel does come to pass.

You know what this means, folks. Whether or not the Pizza Cats make the cut, BUY THE GAME WHEN IT COMES OUT. We need to show these guys that we really DO want it as badly as we do.

If that's the case, then the SPC are practically a goddamn shoe-in now! XD As I said, I cannot go ANYWHERE this game is mentioned without people asking that all three cats and Speed Racer are included.

Let's just hope that, yanno...this is the case. XD;;
