Tobumaki, as an artist myself that has done everything from pen and ink cartoon characters to realistic pencil drawings to paintings, I am struggling to express in words the sheer enthusiasm and hardcore nerding out that I have been doing at the images I’m seeing posted online of every pencil stroke in the character drawings and each tiny brushstrokes of the landscape paintings. I feel compelled to do some of my own watercolor SPC landscapes - I have a bunch kicking around in my old sketchbooks somewhere, perhaps I’ll find them and post along with a new one.

Hit me up if you wanna do an Aster Crow DLC (haha jk) 

I eagerly (but patiently) await more posts from the Blast Zero artists. You all are amazing.

Okay.... there's a story to these. So one day my daughter came home from school, and in art class they were making paper bag puppets. Hers was one of the TMNT, and apparently her puppet was so popular on the bus that she actually started taking orders from kids to make more.

This of course spiraled into a giant, constant mess of construction paper pieces, glue, tape, and all sorts of other things scattered everywhere, but she had actually made some pretty great and creative things, so who was I to complain?

After making all the turtles (a few times each) plus a couple other characters, she decided (much to my surprise and delight) to make a paper bag puppet of Speedy and Bad Bird! I don't know what inspired her, but I think they came out awesome and pretty funny, so I wanted to share

Aw nuts! I missed them playing Dust today! And I missed KNT, too... but you're right, that's really awesome that the game even made it into the lineup.

It's a shame to hear he passed away so young, but to let his works live on to serve his memory... well, I think that is a truly noble cause, and a fitting tribute.
