Hey, what animated tv show do all of you think has (or had) the best intro?  (include a description for those, like me, who may not have seen the show Roll Eyes)

I vote for the Batman animated series, in which there's a bank robbery and the police don't catch the robbers, but batman beats the robbers to the top of the building, beats them up, ties them up, then disappears before the cops make it to the top of the building.  it then shows him standing on a taller building and lightning flashes showing the dark knight in all his glory!  the music rocks too, i think there's a video of it on youtube...

Which Batman, the older one or the new one? (I'll assume old)

As for me, I'd have to go with ReBoot (the first season).  Back when it came out, it's graphics (being a CG show) were amazing.  Visually, the intro was beautiful; unfortunatly it had a giligan's island/SPC plot summary. But man, did it compensate.

The opening to Reboot and Insektors were unbelievable when I used to watch them years ago, but I also really like the Bots Master intro.

I like the specialized Megabyte intro for Reboot. "My format: Virus."
Also, the first intro to Pokemon.
Oh, MY GOD! How can I forget the intro to the Sonic The Hedgehog SatAM cartoon!? Sonic! He's the fastest thing ALIIEEEIIVE!

Sonic SatAm has a cool song.. one of my favs.

Who can forget..
Rocko's Modern Life (You have to watch the show to understand it)
Darkwing Duck  (Catchy song, "Let's Get DANGEROUS!")
Ducktails (Also very catchy song)
SWAT Kats (Explosions, Jetfighters, Dinosaurs on the loose and Shred Guitar: The definition of awesome in my book.)

does anybody remember a cg show called action man?  it had a decent story, and i remember the intro song had a whole 5 words repeated over and over.

And I don't watch tv anymore, unless it's "the Backyardigans". I was the Animaniacs fanatic back in early Junior High. I even met and got an autograph from Jess Harnell (Voice of Wakko and others).

Yep, have to give it up for the Freakazoid intro and song...
I actually liked the Inspector Gadget ending better for some strange reason. I still don't get it.
