i'm so looking forward to Sunday, i actually had a dream about getting a Wii last night!

oh, and earlier today, i actually saw a Wii and Excite Truck on display (but, where'd the controller go? :S) you should see the size of that thing. it is tiny!

hey, ps3 released today, with a planned 1 million units by the end of the year
nintendo reports 4 million units by the end of the year
not to mention the $250-350 difference...

Yeah, Sony will obviously lose money with the price and availability of its latest system. Though it wouldn't be fair to judge the PS3 by those two facts alone. Let's wait and see what games come out for each system to see how they'll compete. After all, the games are what make the system, not the launch.

I doubt I'll be getting either system anytime soon though. Due to personal budget and the fact I work outdoors on weekends, I'll probably settle for the portables first, the DS and the PSP, both looking pretty good.

yeah, you're right
i happen to be a sega and nintendo fanboy, so my opinion's bound to be biased.  the ps3 has amazing capabilities, just a little out of my scope on price.  i like to compare gameplay, and the Wii promises a revolution in gameplay, so i'll always back my money on it

so far, reviewers that have test drived it have said that they were initially skeptical, but after a couple minutes recquired outside forces to tear them away from the Wii

earlier this evening, i got a call from EB Games (and Nintendo of America). actually, they left a message, saying that they'll be keeping the store open at midnight tomorrow night. so, i'll just have to get there an hour before midnight so i can pick up my Wii!
