KNT translation

It seems most of the fans got relief when saw KNT 03 being released. I know that the long delay in this latest release have caused anxiety on many fans, but we are doing the best that we could. There are matters, that don't concern for the public and our privacy must be respected, but that hinders the progress of Project Dream's work.
There are more episodes to come, KNT04 and 52 were transcribed, and KNT 31 is in progress. Don't ask me about release date though.

I finally finished the translation of KNT 31 episode. Nevertheless that doesn't mean it will be available soon, since lot of work must be done until the final subtitled file be ready for a public release.

I have started to work with new episode, this time it's KNT 41 - "Tonderu! Kaette kita hahaue" (or in SPC, "Princess Vi's Hippy Dippy Mom"). I made almost 60% of the transcription in Japanese.

The Japanese transcription of KNT 41 is almost finished, but still there are 3 words I can't understand. I'll try to ask about in the Japanese board of Edoropolis Emporium, and shall hope for any Japanese fan reply.

I wish all fans would understand, the aim of Project Dream is to get the highest accuracy on KNT translations. Owing to this, sometimes our work didn't make any progress until all doubts were clarified. This doesn't forbid someone to make a faster and 'dirty' job, but that is not definitely the Project Dream's way.

I no longer hope to get any improvement on KNT 41 episode translation, so I consider it finished. Now it must be revised and subtitled in the video file. I don't know the next episode to be translated, but for now I'll take some rest.I need somebody to make the Portuguese subtitling of KNT 01 and 03 episodes (they were already subtitled in English). If you are interested in, please contact me.

You did a very great job Daisensei! Well done!  I think I will help try and find some people who would be interested in helping translate some KNT episodes. I hope that new company Oni-'something' is really going to do episode 4 but I can only hope. But for right now take your well deserved rest.

Just finished viewing episode 2--nice work, by the way--and have a couple of questions.

- Wanko-No-Kami harshly rebukes Yattaro for referring to him as "Boss" instead of "Oometsuke-sama". What's the significance of this? Is it a formality issue?
- Pururun makes a point to avoid calling Sukashi by name in front of Omitsu, but Karamaru specifically calls Yattaro by name. Do the Karakara know the Nyanki's secret identities from the beginning?
- On a related note, do the Cats have any 'superhero' names, or are they just "Ninja Team Nyanki"?

-It's because they're there as Pizza Cat employees, not the Nyanki. The Nyanki are under Wanko no Kami's command, but some random pizza deliverers wouldn't be, of course. So they were risking revealing their identities.
-Karamaru and the rest of the clan apparently somehow know their names (How? Just an oversight by the writers, I guess), but they don't know that the Pizza Cat employees are the Nyanki. That's why they have to make up phony names for themselves in the episode where Karamaru works at the Pizza Cat.
-They have the individual titles of "Nyanki No.1" (Yattarou), "Nyanki No. 2" (Sukashii), and "Nyanki No. 3" (Pururun), but other than that, yeah it's basically just "Nyanki" or their individual names.

One more. Why does Yattaro slap Otama on the back like that? The dialogue in the scene doesn't explain it; is he trying to flirt with her? (I've noticed that Yattaro tends to be something of a lecher...)

Kinda the opposite of 'SPC', vvhere GUIDO is the leecher (I think in the Japanese version he's just vain)  and Speedy vvas only playing around vvith Francine.

Hey Daisensei, thank you sooo much for releasing the KNT series in its original language!! I was looking for such release for ages. I could get my hands on the 7.71Gig torrent (I believe this is your file) Now, I was wondering if you could release just the subtitle files as srt instead of releasing the chapters with the sub burned on the image. I have no idea on how to create sub files so sorry if this is a lot to ask... but for those of us who already have the video files, it's gonna be easier to just download the subs separately. Just a suggestion.

As far as I know, the French DVDs are the only real ones so far. They only contain the French version of SPC, though. Meaning only French dialogue track, and and any KNT-exclusive scenes and episodes will be missing. Any other DVDs are likely bootlegs.

It would be great if KNT were to get a DVD release someday, but there aren't any signs that it's likely to happen any time soon, if at all.
