haha, don't worry I'm almost drawing every day, still got a lot of spc art to color but I just want to be 100% sure of that those will look good so 1st I'm trying to improve my coloring skills

Some Sci-fi WiPs I've been dabbling with over the past few weeks. I'm developing a nurnie library to add details in the near future...hopefully these will see completion at some point! Yeah, this is to prove that I do work with 3D...albeit, I'm not putting up any of the finished stuff because those projects have long since disbanded...(i.e the SatAM Project team)

What do you mean why? Doing skeleton work was one of my preferred exercises in drawing class. You get this intricate human-like structure that isn't all outer surface. Especially with the rib-cage. It's good practice in lighting, texture, and how you deal with the effect of negative spaces.

You need a skeleton first.

there is only 1 skeleton I know where to find...but thats in the bio classroom from a school I went to two years ago X3

...or you can find a photographic reference to use, like I did

the skeleton is a good subject to draw for many reasons... like mech said it's a good study in light and dark, negative space too. also, understanding the structural aspect to the human form can help you draw the figure more accurately and with correct proportion. it helps you understand what you're seeing under the flesh and muscle.

btw, it wasn't painted... that was drawn in pencil, just like this one.

Recently, a little application on my DSi I've been enjoying is Flipnote.
... Well... not recently really. More or less back when it first came out.

The thing I like about it mostly is it gives me the ability to copy, paste, try, try, and try again.
It's especially neat to sit back & watch a doodle progress. ^_^

Below is one I worked on. It's nothing special, but I like it.
