At long last, its ready for download! I started work back in December last year, so its a bit late for the 'Merry Christmas' message, but, none the less, I hope you enjoy this radio play. Special thanks go out to D-Mac, who not only voiced Speedy Guido and Mr Narrator, but also helped to revise the script.
So without further ado, here's the link to where you can download it Smiley

Nicely done. Good job everybody on their voice acting jobs. I should've done better, but for some reason. I always get nervous when I record and I tend to do worse than I do. I wish I could've done better. Damn my nervousness.

YEEEEEES!!!!!
That was amazing! Do you people even realize what you have all just accomplished? You've revived the Pizza Cats! They're Back! All thanks to this fan community.
Words cannot describe how joyful I am.

This is how our fanbase will survive. Not by waiting for DVDs. Not by waiting for the show to be re-aired. But by creating our own content. We all know there will never be any official new cannon of any kind. The future of the Pizza Cats belongs to the fans. To me, this is not just some ignorable fan made fiction. It had a great story, great voice acting. I was entertained. You guys should be very proud of yourselves.

I hope you're planning on making another. I'd like to help out if you do. I've been working on a cartoon voice of my own. I'd don't think I can do any of the SPC characters well. But if you ever need an "additional voice", let me know.

I'm proud of all of you. Peace out.  Speedy Wink

That was amazing.

A loss for words kind of amazing.

Brilliance. Absolute brilliance. Well done to everyone who performed, and especially to you Truro.
Just as a side, what was the final cast list?

Complements like yours make it all the more worthwhile Smiley Yes, I already have plans for another Christmas story, that I'm planning to begin in November, but before then, I may write the script for another one to be going on with, until the Christmas season Smiley

To answer Helios' question, the final cast list is as follows-

Narrator/Speedy/Guido- D-Mac
Polly- Kate669
Francine- Rina-Chan
Princess Vi- Zee-Chan
Mama/Junior/Badbird/Prince/Aladin- Truro
Al Dente- Aramek
Guru Lou/Catton- emcgo
Big Cheese/Spritz- Andy
Jerry- Jarrah White
Lucille- Envy
Meowsma- Kawttus
Bat Cat- reptileguard

Most of these fine actors were recruited on the voice acting club  Smiley For future projects such as this, I've got a page on my website, that credits the actors.

Thanks for the good reviews everyone. Smiley Its been a pleasure to finally get the project completed!

I'm a little late, but that was amazing!
I especially liked D-Mac's narrator. It was spot on.
This work was so good, it should be considered SPC cannon!

Dash is right. Wouldn't it be great to convey an action scene through dialogue alone? I also got a lot of good knives in my kitchen to make sound effects.  Speedy Wink

Not only did everyone do a great job with the voices, but I was very impressed with the story writing.  It's very SPC-ish.  Plus the use of background music, it was all very professional.

Congrats on finishing this project. It's very impressive, I can tell a lot of effort went into it. Nice voice acting, the narrator, Guido, and Big Al are particularly accurate. I loved the little reference to the old Zelda cartoon. Grin The only suggestion I have would be to even out the volume level a bit, there's a noticeable difference in volume between certain characters' voices, and between various parts of the program.

Great work, everyone. Smiley

Pizza crust stuffed with cheese? Crazy!

It was really good, story was funny and VA work was convincing.  Also, the incorporation of backround music to "set the stage" was also very well done.

As felineki mentioned the only thing you can fault it on was specific instances of audio mixing.  For example Al's voice needed some compression on it because it was a little too quiet and the signal alternated between loud and soft frequently, also while I was turning my PC's volume up to hear Al talk that space echo effect slammed the signal gain through the roof and almost made me fall out of my chair.

Anyway it was a most exellent start and a truly rad endeavour.  Keep it up.

Yeah, I should try to get the balance right in the next one. I'll take your advice, chaps, and try to get the voices around the same level. This was more nessissary with some of Polly's lines, as they came out quite soft. Its more notisable in Bad Bird's scene, since my lines for him were pretty loud.

Though I am glad that I managed to emulate the SPC style of humour Smiley I'll see if I can keep it up.

My comment here is long overdue, and I know you've heard this before, but your writing is absolutely brilliant, Truro.  You did an incredible job of recapturing the SPC spirit and humor in your script, and I couldn't help but chukle through a number of the lines as I read them! Grin

Though volume balancing was reeeally iffy at some points, but you still made very wise selections regarding music and sound effects. The Eto Rangers music used also fit a whole lot better than I would have expected.

Overall, you did a bang-up job of pulling this juggernaut of a project together, and have certainly done the SPC community proud! Guido Smirk

The majority this project's VA are from other forums, so I'll be leaving comments on them as well.
But... did I just read what I thought I did?!  Guido Confused

BALONEY. Don't believe that, Andy. Not even for a second.

Nervousness is something virtually all voice actors face for a while before they truly get comfortable in front of the microphone. Even -I- still tend to struggle with it on a few occasions.

But once you find yourself able to break through that confidence barrier with ease, you'll be quite amazed by the things that you'll learn you're capable of. Just stick with it!
I personally consider Big Cheese to be the toughest SPC character to voice, and I think you did a fine job. Speedy Wink

I had a good laugh about what you said about cliché anime episodes. You're right! There's always a baseball episode!
But you forgot to mention the fighting tournament episode! The episode where every major character in the series (including the wimpy/innocent characters) fight each other, usually for some kind of prize (like Togepi!). Those ones are always classics!

My apologies on the late post but I would just like to say that after hearing the pantomine play, I literally thought it was a work by true professionals and not just a fan based work. I really did enjoy listening to it and as other members have said already, Guido and the Narrator's voice certainly did sound like the originals and even Polly's I thought did. However, everyone did great and you sure all be proud of yourselves for keeping SPC alive!

I have no criticisms and should there be another pantomine coming around in the future, I'd like to put my name down to help out, even if it is just helping out with the plot, I'd be more than happy too. I think my voice sounds too British so it wouldn't really fit well into SPC.

.....Unless you wanted a cat based on Winston Churchill for one episode, I could do that with ease. Just kidding. Tongue

That was a really cool audio! Loved the crude humour (especially 'You can interpret THAT sentence any way you want!') All the actors did great too! Speedy Wink

It was great! Speedy Wink

Just to listen makes me go back when I was a young boy listening the Pizza Cats.

I can't express myself perfectly in english but I'll write as I would do in french:

"J'ai extrêmement adoré entendre les voix des personnages de Speedy, Guido, Polly et plein d'autres, sa me ranime une flamme, si vous, aussi incroyable le travail que vous avez fait pour faire leurs voix, moi j'aimerais en faire autant à leur redonner vie en les dessinants!."

I'm sorry if I don't know how to translate it, I kind of said: If they did such a wonderful job giving them their voices, I would like to give them life by drawing them.

But still I have a lot to learn, I just began my way of becomming a cartoonist. (first year at school)
