Spiffy Diffy Page 10th Anniversary

My web page is officially 10 years old today.  I've given the main page a make over, and I'll be updating other parts of the site through out the year.  If you see any mistakes or have suggestions, send me a note.  Thanks to Marco for the image on the main page and for looking it over for me while I was working on it.  I also want to show off this cool picture Felineki made for me.

Your page, since I knew an SPC community even existed, has been the most resourceful of all. Not to mention that all SPC roads lead to the Spiffy Diffy Page eventually As it should be with our dear Princess, you've been pretty much the center of the community, finding new stuff and occasionally warning us for cheesy eBay sellers. I, for one, hope you keep doing what you do best, until the end of the internet. I congratulate and thank you, for endlessly searching for new information and sharing it with the community. If it weren't for you, the online SPC community would most probably look very different. Different in a bad way.

Oh by the way, did I mention your site probably has the most static location on the internet? It is, and to my knowledge always has been, on aol.com. So, not quite like your run-off-the-mill SPC site

During my early attempt to find an SPC community in first part of this decade, it was always your site that popped up the most. Not a very helpful website at the time , but still, it was always there.   Congratulations! Let's see if it can make it another ten.

Congrats on the anniversary. I remember coming across your site after first seeng SPC on the air way back when. And here it is today, with new content still being added. You've done a great job.

And I agree, the tirades are very fun. I remember cracking up at the "Why? Did you lose yours?" bit.

It uses java, but I'm not too pleased with the way it runs on some browsers, so I'll be looking into setting it up differently (its supposed to wink when you pass your mouse over it).

At the time I started, there were several SPC web pages that had general information about the show, so I set up mine as a Vi shrine to have something a little different (There was another Vi shrine called "Prisoner Island" for a while).  I'm including more general KNT/SPC content now, but the Edoropolis Emporium is really the center of fan activity now days, which is why I link to here from my main page.  So next time someone is trying to find other SPC fans and comes across my page, they'll be able to find EE.

You can check out any time, but you can never really leave.

Um, yeah, I started on AOL and I stay there so people can still find me.  (It's nice now because it's free and I have 12MB there because I participated in a Beta Test) When I started my page, I didn't even know the main page should be the index, so I used "Hello.html".  Now I'm sort of stuck with it because there are so many links to it.  For those of you not familiar with HTML, using a capital "H" in Hello.html rather than "hello.html" was very stupid.  Now I have to have a "Hello.html" and "hello.html" in case people use the lower case.

Therefore 10 years is a lot of time. Congratulations .
Felineki: nice picture... but under "10 shuu nen" (10 years) is written "shimanagashi" (banishment to an island)... it's creepy!

Congrats, Violet. That was an excellent site you put together. When I first found it a few months ago, I knew I'd arrived at the Princess Vi fan's Mecca.

Thanks everyone!  Yes, I got your email, D-Mac (it was in my spam folder, but I found it after I saw your post).

I tried a different way of loading the winking picture Marco made for me, it seems to work better with different browsers.  It still uses a java script for the wink effect, but you should at least be able to see the normal image without any java running.
