   Personally I haven't thought of you as such a bad person PollyGirl, but I honestly hope you have been insulted, at least a little, because if you don't want people to hate you more than they already do on this board, then you better listen up. What we all are consistently trying to tell you is that WE ARE ALL FANS OF SPC TOO, otherwise you wouldn't have a board to post on. And no one here, aside from you, ever has any problem with Speedy having "character flaws", because THAT IS WHO HE IS.
   I believe that somewhere in your head, you have this romanticized version of Speedy who is a knight in shining armor - pure and godly and perfect. Let me tell you something: the writers have PURPOSELY given him flaws to make him "human", because that is what makes for a good story (take notes). Yeah he is the leader, yeah he's awesome, and yes he absolutely can be mature and in-charge, brave and loyal when it all comes down to it, but he is also egotistical at times, stubborn, selfish, conniving and even insulting. There's no ignoring the fact that Speedy often is too dumb-witted to realize what he just said is gonna earn him a frying pan to the face or a mouth-full of missiles....or hadn't you ever seen an episode of SPC?
   I could go on, but I have at least one more thing I want to say. Don't give sh*t to people about criticizing your work and THEN blast probably the most admirable team effort to keep SPC alive in a HUGE ongoing comic project by saying "i hate it". You need to stop thinking everyone has to conform to YOUR ideals for it to be good. Open your mind, and stop being stuck-up. Because there's having an intelligent argument for what you think, and then there's making a fool of yourself in front of the only people who would even think about bothering to read your fictions.

Think about what you say before you say it.

And get a f*@$%ing keyboard already, your typing is exponentially more annoying by that fact alone.

Aster, Pollygirl was deeply offended by this, and as her friend, so am I. We've gotten nothing but insults and flames since we joined here, and we've both decided to create our own forum to discuss the Pizza Cats, one that's free of the rampant bickering and flaming. Neither of us has seen Speedy pull an ego-trip, nor have we seen him act stupid. Sure, he's goofy at times, but he does it to try and have a little fun (he's got a stressful life...being a Samurai, working in a busy Pizza Restaurant, and fighting Cheese's robots). The cat needs to take a break every now and then. I apologize for not seeing things your way, but the flames are certainly not appreciated. I hope you're happy, Aster...you've just made both Pollygirl and I feel like our opinions aren't welcome, so we'll just leave and save ourselves the grief.

Raz and PollyGirl,

The only thing I'm happy about is that I made a bunch of people laugh. Laugh about how ridiculous it is that Pollygirl (and now you, Raz?) are so adamantly convinced that you know Speedy, Guido and Polly better than anyone here - and not only that, but you are taking personal offense because no one else sees it exactly your way! Really now... I understand that you love the characters as we all do, and that you hold them in high regard, but come on... stop fooling yourselves. It is simply baffling that you cannot understand what you're saying is ridiculous. Baffling that you don't understand what we are ALL trying to explain.

The stupid part about all of this is that we really just want you to stop being closed-minded about SPC because we want you to be fans! We want you to write and take constructive criticism so that you can improve your skills. We welcome everyone who comes to this board... but if you make yourself look ignorant, you better believe we're gonna let you know. (TGL can vouch!) When you storm in here saying you HATE painstakingly dedicated work, you HATE Guido, and you think everyone is wrong if they don't believe in ONLY Speedy+Polly, then YOU are the ones who are causing the problems in the first place. There is nothing wrong with what you like about SPC, but don't force your opinions on anyone like that. And really, have at least a little respect. If you want to be treated with kindness and respect, then you need to give it out, too.

I'm sorry that what I said has caused you two to leave. I was hoping it would make you sit back and really think about what you've been saying. I was hoping that you would reconsider choice words and be more open-minded about the possibilities of this wonderful, diverse fandom. But now you're just going to separate yourselves from what you came to love in the first place because you're not willing to accept that anything is possible and every mind thinks differently, and that it's OK. Perhaps one day you will come back to post on the Edo Board when you are ready. I'll give anyone a second chance.

But on a Topic-Related note, I would like to revert back to COLD for a moment.

I want to say that anyone who has ever tried, or even seriously considered writing and illustrating a web comic should understand the intense dedication that these two are putting into this fancomic. It take a LOT of planning and time, organization, money and emotion to make something as epic and successful as this to happen, and I want to commend PsyGuy and Mr. Oma on an excellent job thus far. Even if there are parts of the comic I don't specifically enjoy, I still give them my utmost respect, because I understand. ....And because the only color page in there was totally rad. ^^

I'm with aster on this - I am sitting here laughing my head off at how utterly unbelievable you two are. To claim that all of us have been at your throats since you've got here is ridiculous. Go back and look at when you two first joined - we were all welcoming and friendly like we are with all new arrivals here. The people who reviewed your stories were nice and offered you constructive criticism (yes, even Burkey) - but you didn't want to hear it.

You were the ones who started these arguments. You were the ones who instigated the flaming of other members when they didn't, as aster said, conform to your ideas or write praising, kiss-ass comments about your fan-fics. You clearly cannot take any kind of criticism at all, and also take this show way too seriously.

I tried being nice, but that obviously didn't get through to you. You didn't even bother to reply to D-Mac's, KyoZaber's or my own posts which didn't attack you in any way. Only aster's, which laid down the same points more bluntly. That leads me to believe you had no way to reply except throw a hissy-fit and decide to leave instead of acting in a grown-up manner. We're happy to listen to opinions - we just don't want them shoved down our throats and told we don't understand a show we love.

I'll make one more point...have a look at my sig. See the little image there? It shows I'm a fan of the Guido/Francine pairing. Now, I don't go about attacking anyone who doesn't agree with it or doesn't put them together in stories. You know why? Because I know that there's a thing called "difference of opinion". Don't act like spoiled brats and kick and scream about it when someone disagrees with you.

Good luck with starting your own forum - you're going to need it. I hope you don't treat your other possible forum members with the same ridiculous behaviour you've displayed here. To be perfectly honest, good riddance.
