Not quite a desktop, but...here is my current Nero SmartStart thing. Taken from Stop Dragon My Cat Around.

Edit: And again not on the desktop, but Bad Bird appears in my directory listings as shown here.

I do need to work on a Samurai desktop though... but there is always the problem with having a strong, bright and colourful wallpaper/backdrop and being able to see your icons.
