Actually what it means is that for every 4.4 guys there is 1 girl.

What's confusing is whos the .4 guy~ O_o (Meaning that .6 of that person is a girl.)
Princess Vi's comment on The Big Cheese makes the most cents to this conundrum...

You know of course that the software is just rounding it down.  If you wanted a whole number, it would be 22 to 5.  But, some people don't bother to fill in the gender, so it's not 100%.
